You play as a legendary Diagnoser assigned to Hauling duty and the fortress stumbles upon a vein of adamantine. You are told to haul the last mined piece away when suddenly stuff goes down and you have to fight your way past of enemies with your trusty +iron crowbar+

I have no clue how that would work at all. Since one has a focus on exploring a semi-random world and changing it while the other is about delivering a very concise narrative.

They managed to shoehorn him into a fighting game. Phoenix Wright knows no bounds.

Those are actually the two games I played (I didn't play Phoenix Wright just for this specific reason, why do you ask?!) and I can't find a good mix.

You go through legions of flimsy defendants with a single OBJECTION!! or two before coming to the main case.  You can choose several flavors of debate: Scalding threatening, Cool persuasion, and etc etc.  Also prolly some other stuff but I forget how Dynasty Warriors is like.

I can't think of any way PW could be put in a tetris game.  There we go, a game PW could not crossover with.

The point of PW Tetris is not to build up the testimony with blocks but to use OBJECTION!s on weaknesses in it. Like Reverse Tetris.

Or the blocks are clues.  Every time you build up a row, Phoenix dramatically calls someone out for an obvious falsehoods.
Show 20 falsehoods and the judge finally figures out that they're habitually lying asshole criminals!  And that Pikachu didn't murder Diglet.
On to the next case, where Samus is accused of working with space pirates.  By space pirates carapaced aliens wearing moustaches.  Only Phoenix can reveal their motivations and blatant fabrications!

It is like those old puzzle adventure games? Like the pirate games were to attack you would have to get three attack things in a row and so on? But with a court theme?

First-person shooter set in a demon-infested "Los Angeles" in which the weapons include pointing, coffee mugs, whips, and air guitars. The pointer-fingers are actually gatling guns which make the onomatopoeia of "objection" instead of "dakka" and fire wild accusations instead of bullets.

You play as Phoenix, with an army consisting of Phoenix's sidekicks, Phoenix, the defendant, and occasionally Gumshoe or Edgeworth. The enemy is variously Edgeworth, Godot, and/or von Karma (either one). The enemy has an army of cops and lawyers. If they manage to "kill"--that is, force a confession out of--the accused or "kill"--that is, disbar--Phoenix, you lose the level. You win the level when you "defeat" an enemy witness, who is the real killer. Makes perfect sense. Aside from the turn-based strategy part, I guess, but rule of fun.

I'd say more but it's the middle of the night and I'm too tired to be decently creative.

Phoenix Wright waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were prosecutors in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Cernel Edgeworth were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.

Phoenix was a space lawyer for 4 years. When he was young he watched the lawyers' cars and he said to dad "I want to be on the lawyers' cars daddy."

Dad said "Objection! You will BE DISBAR BY PROSECUTORS"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the courthouse base of the bar association he knew there were prosecutors.

"This is Edgeworth" the radio crackered. "You must cross-examine the prosecutors!"
So Phoenix gotted his pointer-finger rifle and blew up Courtroom #4.

"HE GOING TO CROSS-EXAMINE US" said the prosecutors

"I will shoot at him" said the cyberattorney and he fired the rocket badges. Phoenix objected at him and tried to send him to jail. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to cross-examine.

"No! I must cross-examine the prosecutors" he shouted

The radio said "No, Phoenix. You are the prosecutors"
And then Phoenix was a prosecutor.

Side-scrolling boss-fight-only arcade smash 'em up. Unlockable weapons and armour instead of characters. Can be played coop.
Expect broken hitboxes and attacks that can cover the entire screen.

Alternatively: Hunt monsters in the Monster Hunter world with your favourite Nintendo characters! Launch a famous Falcon Punch at a Plesioth! Fight fire with fire as Bowser!

Heh... even the classes have overlapping abilities (counter = lance counterstab, Falcon Punch or Kirby's Hammer = Great Sword charge attacks, Little Mac's KO is similar [mechanically] to the SA/CB burst attack)
