In a randomized galaxy, you design your spaceships, then fly around with them in first person and pick up the random weapons the enemies drop. Research better tech for your spaceships! Build colonies in new areas, to keep the ressources flowing and to meet new enemies, that can actually match your level an drop items that are useful, unlike the ones in the starting region. Conquer planets singlehandedly, but beware: if two AI players lightyears away are duking it out, all might slow down to a crawl. The interface is kinda clunky as well, if you want to shoot an enemy, you'll have to open a menu, choose the weapon, thoose the ammo, and then assign that enemy to the weapon.

League of  Vvardenfell:

A MOBA unlike any other! While there are technically two teams of players competing against each other, the map is incredibly detailed and full of exploitable gimmicks. The team thief backstabs the NPC merchant and wrecks the other team with the powerful items he stole from his corpse, the mage hangs out in the jungle for half the game collecting souls and alchemical ingredients and then emerges as an uberpowerful monstrosity because of exploiting Fortify Intelligence potions and broken enchantments. The team healer jumps everywhere to train Acrobatics and eventually gets good enough that he can hop over walls, making him impossible to catch. Meanwhile the other team all cast Mark at the other team's base and then Recall to it at once while their enemies are distracted to vandalize their structures. Unfortunately, they neglected to acquire the needed protective gloves from the neutral NPC's and end up with one of their number dead from trying to use Kagrenac's Tool's to destroy the other team's Heart.

League of Legends and Morrowind. I would play the hell out of this.

The way you describe it actually wants to make me play it.

EDIT: the last two games I played? Happy Wheels and CK2. Oh god. I... I don't even know where to start.

Minecraft: Dangerous.

A procedurally generated galaxy consisting of 400 billion stars & attendant bodies, where the player starts on a single planet and has to build their own ship out of stone, wood, and redstone.

*throws cash at the screen trying to make this a reality*

Crusader Kings and Kerbal Space Program.

Feudal Space Program.

I imagine it would turn out somewhat like Dune for some reason.

Hm... Skyrim and Aurora were my last two games.

So... magic-based trans-newtonian flight where you fly over to other planets and drop hordes of angry vikings on them?

Rocksmith 2014 and Redshirt.

A game where you play a band member who has to schmooze, practice and perform their way to the top.  You allocate your time each day, making sure to spend enough time socialising and hanging around with your bandmates, agent, fans and others to build your reputation, including by plugging in your guitar and miserably failing to hit any right notes blinding your audience with the sheer power of awesome rock.   :D

Space Station 13 and Cataclysm DDA.

SS13 but with Zombies on the surface of a planet, and you try to survive by making a colony with the other players, but people can be antagonists like Zombie or Bandit Leaders? Sounds pretty cool.

SpaceHack 13 (Space Station 13 + NetHack)

The crew of the NSS Exodus has to try and survive the Dungeons of Doom and retrieve the Amulet of Yendor and make it back to the station. Meanwhile, antagonist players control the Wizard of Yendor, the Riders, and/or other unique monsters.

...That actually sounds pretty awesome. I wonder if an event like that could be organized?

Crusader Kings 2 and Fallout New Vegas.

The Courier travels through the remains of a pillaged county.  What peasants there are either cower in their burnt hovels, or attempt to rob her.  Fortunately she has 100 points in Steel Weapons.  Nothing can stop the delivery of this most vital message to the local count:  That hence forth, no one may wear pants.
