A massively multiplayer game in space with about 8 players in which you design your character, buy outfits and unlock character species and account features with real money, and fly around issuing orders and waiting to see if your people succeed or fail (and how badly), and equip ships and people with equipment you've acquired or crafted before sending them out to Do Stuff.

Also with the lockboxes and rare ships for the pay2win.

Science victory is achieved by digging a borehole down to hell and colonizing it.

I would play CiV if it had a DF mod.
But I bet, like all things, it would be better if it was made for CIV.

Beat Hazard and Super Laser Racer

Mario Kart with Tron-like themes set to music with some extra flare to anything that glows (which is basically the whole game, racers and levels alike, even the weapons) with the beat of the music.

That actually sounds interesting.

Depends on what is meant by "game."

Anything:
Space Engineers, but with a logic puzzle in place of the rudimentary hacking system that exists now.
(Space Engineers, Hexcells Plus)

Anything that can hold my attention for longer than 15 minutes:
Space engineering in the Sixth World. Create your character, gather materials, construct your craft, watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon. I would totally play this.
(Space Engineers, Shadowrun: Dragonfall)

Minecraft FTB(Direwolf20 pack 1.7)/Reassembly

...

As if ship engineering wasn't detailed enough for me... I'm imagining it 3d, weapons must be powered and possibly fed with manufactured ammunition, machines are rebuilt automatically meaning it may take time for the ship to become fully functional again after a heated battle because all the facilities must reactivate and perform their operations anew... There's the possiblity for magic to be involved as well...
I'm imagining that the factions would be based upon the individual major mods... Thaumcraft ships, Thermal Expansion ships, Ender IO ships, plant ships might be based off of forestry... Buildcraft might be a universal set of parts...

I think I'm getting an engineering nerdgasm just thinking about it.

Hyperion references await.

XCOM:LW and Red Faction: Guerilla

XCOM on Mars and you get resources for blowing things up.  XCOM missions are actual raids on the country's civilian resources.  All XCOM recruits have sledgehammers.

or

XCOM:LW and Path of Exile

XCOM:LW except gear has random properties and most aliens have 2 health.

Path of Exile, except you play as a human supersoldier sent to genocide ALL THE ALIENS on their hidden moonbase.

Oh my goodness, acid spit is almost as evil as chaos damage AoE's.

A unique rhythm game, where you manipulate a set of paths to keep circulating "notes" hitting various instrument-representing topological nodes in time with the beat(s), trying to hit as close to as many beats as possible with as close to as appropriate "instruments" as possible - while having to keep modifying the system as different patterns in the song distort and reshape the map.

osu! and Mini Metro.
