Didn't somebody kill a night troll by throwing its own blood at it? The night troll bled out when it tried to dislodge the blood from its heart.

Yeah, someone even has this as their sig as an added bonus.  My poor memory is telling me Cptn Kaladin, but it may have been someone else.

Sure it's not exactly a warriors weapon but much like a kitchen knife it's nothing to laugh about.

When hearing "fork" in DF, i, too, think of a carving fork (the one to the right). OP seemed to be imagining a dessert fork. Considering night troll lairs are full of meat in various states of preparation, it's quite reasonable to assume the kitchen utensils found there make for pretty decent improvised weapons.

I see that a carving fork looks a lot more potent an eating fork. I thought a carving fork was the same shape as a dinner fork.

But that still doesn't change the fact that it's possible to die from such deadly weapons suchs as pants, plump helmets, or your own blood. (How does the latter even happen?)

This was making me think how you can get killed by anything really. Then i thought of a challenge, "Make a time lord" cut up monsters (or anything really) and throw heart at other monsters (or humanoids) and get it lodged in there torso. Or you could do the same with brains and lodging in the head.

I think it has been for a long time. You need an empty hand.

You can grab other stuff, too. Unfortunately, wrestling initiates no-quarter combat, so pickpocketing remains a capital offense.

Well I've never seen anything like "Urist Catches the bronze two handed sword with Urist's right hand."

By looking at the message log, it looks like they are actually wrestling for it instead of trying to yank it out of the other's hand.

Combat is no longer instantaneous. In this case they saw the incoming attack and chose to grab for the weapon rather than dodge block or parry. You can do the same thing with punches and kicks.
