Wait a few moments to see what he's doing then quickly scan the area around you to make sure you have a path of escape if things go bad.

He seems to be wandering, hugging the walls and not getting to far out of the shadows. He seems to be heading deeper into the city.
There is a path back out the one room housing and if you go into the back room of the textile stall there is an exit door but you don't know where it goes

You walk back into the stall and open the door, it leads out into an apartment district, there also seems to be a few old crates laying outside the door.

Try to open the crates and if needed, use the machete to hack them open.

The crates are nailed together and with a little prying the tops come off. Inside you find old and deteriorated bundles of cloth and yarn.
The last nail coming lose from the crate made prett loud creaking noise

((Just a bit of timey stuff, it was around late morning waking in the cave and it's about 2-3pm))
You walk over to one of the apartments, you get the the stairs that lead to the living areas, the bottom floor seems to be a lobby, empty pool(mostly empty, what is in it is murky and Bleh), some broken vending machines, and a waiting area.
Just as you get to the stairs you think you hear a stall door creak

We should turn around and see if there is anyone at the stalls. If we can not spot anyone, begin climbing up the stairs.

You look back and notice that several of the stall doors are already open, you're not sure if you're just hearing things but you don't see anyone/anything there.
You quietly make your way up the steps and at the top you find a row of several room entrances with broken windows and the such near the doors, these are all located on the RAILED walk way that makes up the side of the complex.

You walk into the first room quietly, the broken window made an easy access point.
After getting through the curtains you see the room.
It has black mold growing all over the pale yellow walls. The bed is broken and tilted with the sheets thrown all over. There are a few pairs of clothes strewn about the room.
The kitchen is in shambles, there are shattered dishes all about and a pot on the floor. The fridge is no longer working and it's contents are empty. The sink drips green water slowly and the bathroom is... Let's not talk about it.
