You find what looks like a butchers shop, which is the most likely source of the noise.
Upon entering the shop you see a very skinny man dressed in tattered clothes. He is sharpening something on a spinning stone carefully while whispering to himself in muttered tones. He is facing the far wall and doesn't see you enter

Greet the skinny man.

You look around a tad confused and look at the man,"Umm.. Hello?"
He stops the grinder the moment he hears you, he stands with something in his hands infront of him muttering to himself, about him still hearing the sounds. He doesn't look back

Noah: Wield the shotgun and ask the man if he needs any help.

You bring the shotgun down into your hands.
"Sir, do... Do you need any.. Umm help?"

He tilts his head a bit, one of his hands droops to his side, in it you see what looks like a very sharp piece of metal scrap. His other hands scratches the back of his head, he speaks up,"They.. They never asked of help.. No not before... They play tricks again I say.. I won't have it.. No of it.. Not any more."
His voice softens as he begins muttering to himself again, he puts the metal scrap back in both hands and sits down on the stool infront of the grinding wheel. He doesn't even turn to look at you.

Noah: Ask the man if has seen anyone else.

He starts up the grinding wheel and sharpening his metal piece. He is ignoring you.

We should walk around the butcher shop and see if we can find anything useful in it.

While keeping an eye out on the Skinny Man.

You walk back out and look around, looks like it's been awhile since this place was working.
There are broken animal bones strewn around but no meat. The stalls across the street seem to have a few things. You can still hear the grind wheel.

Remain vigilant while going to check out the stalls.

You walk over and as you reach what looks like an old run down textile stall you hear the grind wheel stop

Find a solid wall to back yourself into, shotgun pressed against your shoulder.

You stand against a concrete block wall of one of the shops with the shotgun in hand, you see the skinny man walk out of the butcher shop, he is looking at the ground muttering with his sharpened metal piece in hand

Wait a few moments to see what he's doing then quickly scan the area around you to make sure you have a path of escape if things go bad.
