Pull out our flashlight from our backpack and scope out the room.
Christ, I think she killed herself. Yeah you can add the zombie and apocalypse stuff.

You rush to grab your flashlight.
You turn it on and turn around you first notice a splattering of fluid on the wall, it's not blood but it sure looks like a blood splatter but it just looks like water splashed on the wall.
On the floor there is a shotgun on the floor, it is a pump shotgun. There are two shells on the ground.
You look at what got kicked over toward you earlier.
It is a medium sized (about the size of a shoebox) cardboard box all closed up.

Pick up the shotgun and two shells. Then open the cardboard box.

The two shells are loaded. The gun seems to have a few rounds in it, and a shoulder strap.

The box contains a golden coin, a post card, an old withered news article, a flash drive, and a box of shot gun shells

Noah Wan: Take the two shells and box of shot gun shells and see if the gun can be reloaded. Read the post card and withered news article. Put the flash drive in the backpack.

You load the two shells into the gun. You put the box of ammo in the bag.
The news article reads of some plague sweeping through the island, another article was buried under the stuff in the box.
The post card has
"You loved me evermore. Till death do us part you said. No more. Good bye my love for I say not but fair well, and on your trip back I say
Welcome home"

The image on the front shows the dock of the island with the city in the back ground and a smoking volcano on the opposite side of the background. In the foreground are hundreds of sick people, they look malnourished and on the brink of death. Right infront of where the camera must have been placed is a group of malnourished children waving to the cameraman. Upon looking closer you can see several people in the back injecting themselves with needles.
The flash drive is in your bag

Look at the gold coin and other article. Put the papers and coin in the bag. Search the desk. Try to see if the TV can be turned on.

The other article has a worn image of the hospital in the center of the town (it is not falling apart in the image as it is now) the article reads about some new medical company doing research on the island and setting up facilities.
The good coin has the symbol that is on the side of the hospital in the image, the other side has some tribal plant imprint.
All items bagged and shot gun slung over your shoulder.
The desk has some empty papers, used pencils, old pens, a clip board or two, and some other random office supplies.
The tv looks like it had a... Yup there's a rock on the floor and shattered glass on the tv stand, the tv is broken.

We should take a pencil and pen, and then leave this one room house.

You put one of each in the bag.
Once you step outside you notice a shadow run into the market area, it seems similar to the ones you saw earlier from the platform

As you walk towards the market you hear something that sounds like a grind stone

Stop walking and see if we can spot any place in particular that looks like the sound could be coming from.

It's coming from one of the backs of the shops on the right sides, you can hear whispering from the same area.
