((going to do at least one update in morning/afternoon and one before I go to bed. Might separate morning and noon updates if people are being active. This is a morning/noon update))

You climb down from the platform noting its prominent position on the island.
You slowly make your way down and find that you are wearing rather nice hiking boots.
Upon entering the outskirts of the small city you find the ground littered with black grime and plastic bottles and bags.
The buildings have a noticeable layer of suttee (is that how you spell that? the black stuff from pollution/smoke?) You are surrounded by small broken down and half standing shanties of plywood and small sheets of metal. each with small dirty and soaked mattress or some other cushiony thing. There are a few small boarded up one room houses outside the apartment area. There is also a small open market looking area that leads right to the apartments if you don't want to investigate the houses.

Pull the boards from one of the doors and take a peek inside. Use another board as a lever if we must.

You pry off a board or two and find a rickety door that you easily break from it's hinges and lay on the ground outside.
The inside of the hut is dark and damp, you can tell it's a one room building and can make out what looks like a couch, a desk, some sort of tv and a small table between the tv and the couch

You enter the building and walk to the desk
It's very dark inside, as you open a drawer on the desk you here what sounds like a shotgun being pumped behind you.

I guess the Noah has actually been spotted already by the shotgunner.
Turn around and slow raise our hands up in the air to surrender to the ghost or person holding the weapon.
((I'm sure other people will post eventually, and who knows maybe some people are following this silently.))

You stop moving and attempt to speak but fail
The gun pumps again and you hear a full shell fall to the floor
You then hear the woman speak again "You made a mistake coming here"
You hear her kick something towards you, you hear it slide and stop right behind you
