quick question MegabeastKennel
« on: January 19, 2015, 06:37:47 am »

can i revive all Megabeasts i kill or just 1 which will block off all other Monsters?
For example iv i kill a frost wyrm (they love to invade me for some reason) i can revive it but can i revive let say like a hydra after that?
Im asking because of this line it could be outdated:
"Alternatively, you can use the beasts skull and the greater soul to reanimate the Megabeast as a friendly unit. You can only chose one. Beware of Megabeast-Vampires though."

I believe by choose one the manual meant you can only choose one thing to do with the megabeast soul. Give a soldier legendary skills, get a cool item, or revive the megabeast. At least I think those were the options, it's been a while.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.
Unless you're past reproductive age. Then you're pretty much an extension of your kids' genitalia

He meant can be revive more of the same mega-beast type (or mega beasts of different types).

What the manual means you can use a mega beast soul for...

A) Training a soldier to 15 skill level in 1 skill. This means you CANNOT revive the megabeast.

or

B) Revive the megabeast, but you cannot train a soldier to 15 with its soul (obviously).

To my grasping, you can revive as many as you want!... but they are friendly, and building-destroyer tagged still (last I tested, eons ago) and they will go around breaking every building, door, and hatch in your fort while you can do jack squat to stop him. Aka, they're fairly useless. You can weaponize them somewhat, but compared to one of the various turrets they are just not worth the hassle imo.

oh well thats bad iv they destroy my stuff should be like flying after captureing them they cant fly and should stop destroying but i might find something to weaponize them maybe close them in with Fortification so the frost dragon breaths ice over my enemys.. but got the feeling my Crafts dwarf turned the dragon bones into bullets since the reaction is gone xDD.
