You cautiously approach the clearing to which the firelight is coming from, looks like some sort of vermin campsite.
You don't see any vermin but you do see their stuff.

You sneak into the camp, making sure to look and listen for anything coming.
You look through the camp for shinnies and find something almost immediately, but something is weird about it.
It looks like some kind of stone bauble placed out in plain view, and you can feel a slight pulling of flight through it.

You attempt to put it around your neck, but it wont let go of your claw.
You also attempt to flee, but its got some sort of string on it that is holding onto the ground.
You hear something coming.
"Looks like you caught another kobold brother what's that make, eight now since we left Ferendal?", yells out the encroaching monster.
"I'd make ten now, Cufoe." Shouts back a demon deep in the woods.

You roar as mightily as you can muster "Squeeak!"
You try to suck the flight out of the bauble, but its not got putting out flight its pulling it from you.
A vermin walks out from the dark of the forest and tossing down a pile of sticks, looks at you and proclaims "Well, your not a kobold."
"Hey brother, I don't think our guest is a kobold."
"Definitely not, Cufoe." the other vermin confirms as it to issues forth from the forest's shades.
"Then what is it, some sort of pygmy lizian?"
"Its a dragon, Cufoe."
"Your awfully small little guy, are you sure its a dragon brother?"
"Its probably a welp, Cufoe."
