You explore the cave a bit, away from the meaty piles its still very damp with blood, and water.
You find a pool of water, a blood covered welpling looks back at you from the bottom of the pool, he must have fallen in.
Looking at the water makes you remember you are still thirsty.

Drink water and ignore the poor welpling while doing so. Maybe help him when you finish.

You drink the water, it is warm and wet.
The welpling disappears in the ripples, you remember some abstract feeling about the welp in the water being your mother or father or both.
You get confused by that because clearly your parents are dragons not welplings.

Concentrate on our abject feelings of knowledge.

You concentrate on the abstracted feelings, the welpling in the water comes from two memories one in which your mother looks up at you from the water and another where your father is looking back at you.
No, not looking at you, looking back at themselves from the water.
You don't understand why you remember that but you think it means the welpling in the pool could be you, but you still don't know why you are in the water.

((Cool idea with knowledge being directly passed between generations.))
Wonder why we can't fly.

You flap your wings and wonder why you cant fly, you remember some annoying conversation with a upsetting vermin and some confusing stuff about some silly vermin ideas.
Something about that seems wrong, you cant fly because you aren't doing it right.

Attempt to fly by flapping all your limbs, not just the wings.

Focus your spirit and try to fly again. Blame on a nearby welpling if you fail.

You explore the cave further, but nothing else of interest is to be found.
You flap and wiggle your body about, it doesn't help you fly but one of your wings manages to catch some flight.
You try to focus your spirit, but all you get is dizzy, you try to fly with what flight you've got.
You manage to pull yourself off the ground for a little while but only having a small amount of flight you get tired and sink back ground-ward.

(Had to sleep)

You go back to the welplings and piles of meat, there seems to be less of both.
You flap your wings franticly and catch some flight, flying upwards and out into a larger upper place, the floor is hot, the air is hot.
You crawl towards the feeling of the way out, and soon the air grows colder and colder, and it becomes easier and easier to see.
You make a turn and the bright light of the sun bites at your eyes, and memories of flying into the sky come to you.
You look around at the world, at its rich green leaves and blue endless sky.
