Im rlly into trying out the magic school, but i have littel problem i encountered now multible times the reaction to create a Wand dont work.
Im sure i have logs and im sure i ahve lots of Platinum i melted lots of the enemy shields to get it im kinda out of ideas how to make it work.
Can i use magic without a Wand or can i get a Wand by other means?

Magic doesn't require wands. Wands just shoot magic missiles, and the right kind of wand gives a wizard extra powers, but the base powers don't require a wand. However, I have never had a problem making a wand. Check to ensure you have someone with sorcery skill enabled. Double check that you have plain logs (not smooth or feather or any other kind) and platinum. Make sure that the school has access to the stockpiles or workshops containing the wood and platinum.

Also, keep in mind of the burrows bug: if the workshop is in the burrow, then also every item the reaction needs must be in the burrow. So, both wood stockpile and platinum one must be inside the same burrow of the wand's workshop.

The reaction is red for my but my stock says i have Platinum Bars and Wood logs and i can see them to when i check my stockpile manual, also i dont use burrows except on sieges and yes i have a Magic Dwarf trained him into an elite military and made sure hes not in service while i want to create the wand.

It doesn't matter if you use them only in sieges, I said it's a bug, so it's something the game should not do: even if you deactive it from military page, the burrow still exist, and the bug prevent the workshop to search for reagents outside burrow.
So, this should be your problem ASIDE from you removing and remaking burrows every time (if this is the case then I apologize for not understanding), but if you just deactive it from [m]ilitary, then [a]lert, then you must make a stockpile for wood and another one for metal inside the burrow, even if it's inactive right now.

Ah now i get i i did remove all burrows except 1 and assigned that one all over my Fort which includes stockile and everything in my Fortress still red reaction =/

try ordering one through the manager.  sometimes it helps with this quirk.  it affects all modded buildings, there's nothing Meph can fix.

alternatively, if you're actually missing a material, the manager will give you an error message

Is the stockpile with your platinum or wood set to give to another stockpile or workshop?

no i dont bind Stockpiles o workshops very often only when i want something rlly specific like a foreign steel Zweihander runded by my runesmith but thx for the suggestions il order one with my Manager.
