Wait, would Negaton Corepanel even work?   Goblin Black Ops squad has a continuous effect, not a trigger.

You are right yes, sorry I thought Negaton Corepanel was the trap one. Cards like that can only be activated when an effect is triggered.

Yeah, Iron Core Luster would have been the better one.

As the only thing I can do is take the damage, might as well continue on with his turn.

I think I might add in and Outer God/Elder God/Great Old One combination.  As my deck already has creatures warped by strange powers (The iron cores were used by Koazky to transform the Koa'ki Meiru cards into their current form), they could prove a fairly interesting addition.  Besides giving me something to flesh out the extra deck of a set that doesn't use it.

Actually, might not do this.  I'd have to redo massive sections of my deck, and without any clear way to get new cards...

Might make for a good deck for an antagonist, though.

Is watchdog in Attack position? If so, it had to attack last turn.

Work caught up with me I'm afraid, I just don't have the time at the moment to run this game. It's going to be like that for a while until I finish up with my coursework/exams, sorry for not posting about the reasons sooner.
