Pretty much what I was expecting.

The best thing to do would be to try and keep clear of him, she decided.

Random Prediction that may or may not have any basis in fact:
We're both going to be trying to avoid each other due to the heavily messed up recent past, but to the rest of the group is going to misinterpret it as romantic interest.  This will lead to the characters getting caught up in a web wherein they are trying to avoid each other, but the rest of the group will be trying to force them together.  This will of course lead to Nathan having a slip of the tongue that reveals the whole collapse of her gang was due to one screw up on his part.  May lead to an attempt to kill him, which if the admission is missed, will lead to a misinterpretation as belligerent sexual tension.

Might wind up getting a kick-start if the two accidentally run into each other in the waiting room and then having a stammered conversation.  Might be worsened past that if the characters dueled in the finals/semi-finals/top 8.

Don't really have too much of an idea where my mind was at 2am last night...

Just to be clear we are using the newest set of rules, that means no drawing on the first turn and you can play two field spells at the same time.


The magical poker equation will show up in your favour for the first rounds but will slowly fade away as the rounds of the tournament go on.
