Oh. I don't see that as OOC, and I did share my opinion on your idea of tracking <x>. I just brought it up later because it's perfectly within the context of the discussion that was occurring, given that NQT was talking about how we should keep you alive because you might be useful later (as opposed to keeping you alive because you weren't scum, which I believe is a more valid argument.)

N2: Who Could Be Performing The Scum Kill

Investigators take note! This is what everyone will be apparently doing tonight. I recommend focusing on maximising info on players we can't pin to a night action tonight.

PlayerNight ActionHow Do We Know?
CheetarEither nothing or the scumkillThey've claimed Enchanter (this hasn't been confirmed but it'd be idiotic to fakeclaim).
NQTNot the scumkillShakerag is tracking NQT.
PisskopFollowing or WatchingHe'll pick a target that will be confirmable.
Jim GroovesterWho knows?We don't
Persus13Who knows?We don't
ShakeragBuilding a tracking deviceOn D4 we'll find out who Shakerag targeted with his 3rd tracking device.
Deus AsmothProtecting someone or performing the night killWe can't be sure he will, but we know he has this power.
UXLZNot performing the scumkillShakerag is tracking him.
ScriptenWho knows?We don't.
TiruinWho knows?We don't.
ScriptenWho knows?We don't.
ZUWho knows?We don't.
ToasterProbably surviving. If Tiruin's confidante's claim is anything to go by.

Problem: Shakerag could be lying.
Problem: Pisskop may not pick a target that's confirmable (this was an issue night 1.)
Problem: UXLZ or NQT could have advanced anti-tech shields.

Also: Tiruin's confidante? I must have missed this earlier in the thread.

NQT: You have Scripten listed twice there.

Problem: Shakerag could be lying.
Problem: Pisskop may not pick a target that's confirmable (this was an issue night 1.)
Problem: UXLZ or NQT could have advanced anti-tech shields.

Tiruin claimed that a telepath confided in her with a survive result on Toaster.

Unvote, SHakerag claimed and actually has somewhat useful information, so I'm going with Zombie Urist because I'm suspicious of him and have few other suspects I want to vote right now. Still somewhat suspicious of Cheeetar and UXLZ and need to reread their suspicions of Cheese, and Toaster is also worth looking at.

MC was voting pisskop at Day end yesterday. Since you feel pretty strongly that pisskop is scummy, do you feel that MC would be willing to buss pisskop at day end. Do you think 4maskwolf would pull his gambit in the knowledge that one of his scumbuddies was in the group in order
to give them town credit?

Yes. If I were in mastahcheese's position and pisskop were on my team, I would've tried to bus him too. Rallying to the vig's side and killing the scumbucket who was trying to supply him targets would've looked good, if he could have gone about it in a way that didn't look like a really transparent bandwagon.

Meant to actually respond to Jim's comment in that post, but decided I didn't really have anything to comment on there and forgot to cut it out of my final post.

Cheetar
Problem: Shakerag could be lying.
Shakerag could have snooper bot/followed me but that would require both him and UXLZ to be scum for him to guess UXLZ's action.

Problem: Pisskop may not pick a target that's confirmable (this was an issue night 1.)
If he doesn't he will be a high candidate for the lynch tomorrow. I've tried to make it as crystal clear to him. RIGHT PISSKOP?

Problem: UXLZ or NQT could have advanced anti-tech shields.
Well, UXLZ might, sure. This is a small possible problem.

Also: Tiruin's confidante? I must have missed this earlier in the thread.
She says here. Actually, now I'm looking back her confidante might not be a psychic (unless she clarified later?).

NQT: You have Scripten listed twice there.
Holy-moly, you always manage to spot my mistakes. You're like my mafia copy-editor. Luckily I didn't actually leave anyone off. Here's the list again, corrected:

To be fair, if we bring the possibility of things like Tech Shields and Mind shields and (etc.) into the equation, almost none of these actions are certain

This is interesting. Why do you have so few suspects? I find myself in the opposite position. What exactly do you find suspicious about Zombie Urist?

Let's see, I'm suspicious of Cheeetar, pisskop, Shakerag, and ZU. I want to read more into UXLZ's play, I lean town on Jim, Scripten, and NQT, DA is most likely town although its possible they could be scum, and Tiruin is bleh. And I forgot Toaster, which in itself isn't good and he's pretty meh.

Cheeetar is someone I'm really suspicious of, but its mainly gut, otherwise he's been playing well. Shakerag and pisskop both have roles of potential use to town, and pisskop is giving off a bit of a newbie town vibe. That leaves Zombie Urist, who replaced in for Deathsword. Deathsword didn't have whole lot I found scummy, and his inactivity seemed to have an excuse, given his replacement request. Looking through ZU's posts, other than his flabort vote and the whole Guardian confusion thing, I can't find anything, and neither the flabort vote or the whole guardian thing is really damning. my vote for Zombie is more process of elimination besides anything else, and I don't really want to do that. Unvote

Speaking of which. Flabort and Pisskop can go die. My other lynch choices would be Mastahcheese and Shakerag. Maybe Scripten.
This is Toonyman's list of suspects. Mastahcheese is one of those suspects, as is pisskop, Shakerag, and Scripten. Hmmm. I'm wondering if Toony was right about anyone besides cheese.

My Wednesdays are fairly free, so I'll probably go back to Shakerag or look into UXLZ with my vote then. Or I might vote Tiruin if she fails to deliver and we need to break a tie.

Meph, if a doppelganger intelligence scientist is spending their night working on building a new tracking device can they also perform the scum nightkill?

No, building tracking devices counts as a night action.
Uhh.  Shit.  I don't suppose that happens automatically?

Building tracking devices is automatic assuming no other night actions are taken.

ZU: This is piggybacking off of NQT a bit, but I'm going to echo the 'having no suspects other than ZU' part of Persus' post as highly suspect. I also suspect Tiruin- not because of her internet issues, or using it as an excuse to not post. That's perfectly reasonable, and I don't think Tiruin would lie about that regardless of being town or mafia. I don't like how she voted for Scripten, however.
Deus Asmoth is... off. I don't get how quickly he bought into Pisskop. If Pisskop flips town, he's town, but if Pisskop flips scum he's definitely suspect. He could just be a misguided townie, but that would be requiring me to think he's playing more poorly than I'd expect from him. (Although... scum DA protecting Pisskop would be pretty silly of the entire scum team, given that they could be protecting MC and just having Pisskop do nothing/covering for one of their own by saying they stayed at home.)

People I should suspect but don't particularly suspect:
Shakerag- believable claim, not seeing him as particularly suspect apart from lower activity than usual. Not feeling it from his defeatism. Null-ish?
Scripten- not buying the meta argument for him being town, but I'm also not seeing his interaction with MC as scummy. Who the hell would compliment their scum partners scumhunting technique? Null-ish?

Actually, here's a problem: What if Pisskop covers for one of his scumbuddies night 2 by saying he followed them and they went nowhere while in actuality they performed the scumkill. Would it be 'confirmable' if Pisskop said somebody did nothing, NQT?

The guy is reveling in playing Mafia. Did you see the silly 'testimonials' he's shown? You can't excuse his poor play by him being new to Mafia. How do you really read him, Persus?
