I lean yes, but its not as definite as the end of D1.

Big Jim's doing it on the opposite extreme.
Tiruin comes off as polite and inoffensive whereas Jim is aggressive and  heavy handed.
Same indescisiveness in their (lack of) reads, though.

Jim: His reads were noncommittal and not particularly detailed, which I figured was just because they were day 1 reads in a day that had been mostly dominated by one event. I actually thought he was town up until his death, which is why he was one of the people I gave my role to. Knowing he's scum, the reads don't give much away aside from wanting to lynch TDS, which doesn't help much now that they're both dead.

[cough bussing]
@Jim Bison: Thanks for snipping the entirity of my reason for voting so that you can whine about it.
Also thanks for not giving a fuck when the person who posts immediately after you votes the same person.
Your utter lack of even acknoledging it is noted.

More recently: Pisskop: I can't read your mind. If you have something to say, say it.

*Having to wait to answer everything in between because he's busy*
Considering he was not even a little like that with other players, I'd say the affectionate nicknames and prancing is a good sign I'm on the right track.

NQT:
Shakerag, are you going to present a case today? You've yet to explain why you were you so reticent about continuing playing post-death via the possible medium.
Working on it.  Goddamn, what is with all of this weekend posting?
As for your second part, it's just because I tend not to give a sanctified shit about a game after I'm dead, medium or no.  Also, at the time as I recall, there was no guarantee of a medium anyway.

UXLZ:
If he's not a survivor, what could he be?
How about busy IRL (which I said as much on Friday)?  And, for the record, I almost never post on the weekends.

Well.  Pissk strikes me as a little off, but I'm waffling between whether that's because he's a scumbag, or if he's just that goofy normally.

I'm not really sure why Scripten is getting attention right now, but I'm seeing his name tossed around enough that I'm going to look more into the reasons why.

Tiruin is always impossible for me to read in every game ever.  My eyes can't not glaze over every time I try to read her posts.

UXLZ I still have a weird gut feeling about.

Did that whole business about "the window being cracked" in the flavor get resolved?  Because it seemed like some knucklehead forgot that a window being cracked means that it's slightly open.  And then something something pissk was getting defensive or something.

Have your opinions changed? How have they changed, if they have?
What made you change your mind from Scripten yesterday, (then flabort which you've posted about) to UXLZ today?
Scripten posted this huge post in response to mastahchees, so I don't really think they're scumbuddies. I can kinda see him being a survivor of some sort, but I don't think he's a doppleganger.
http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=147607.msg5982358#msg5982358

I guess I'm ok with a Tiruin lynch, but I don't think she's the best option.

That's true, I'd missed that. Why Flabort over TheDarkStar? Why Flabort over Pisskop?
I guess you also missed when I answered those questions...

You can see in the quoted PM exactly what I said to Flabort about the matter. I convinced him not to kill Pisskop, I said scum expected him to kill Shakerag so if Shakerag is scum they might have take precautions. Don't see how any of that makes me look silly if Shakerag flips scum: I half expect him to.
I guess but you also said you were going to advise Flabort on an alternative target but weren't going to do so because Shakerag was being defeatist, but it looks like in the end you did anyways so what do you say about that?

UXLZ: Hurry up and vote someone.

Heh.

*Casts suspicion toward lurkbloc and mentions entire scumteam could be hiding in lurkbloc.*

*Lurkbloc suddenly appears.*

*Gets voted by several members of lurkbloc in quick succession.*

Hm.

Toaster:

So you're tasked to vote just to prove you're willing to do it, and you vote the guy voting you all day?  Sigh.

Class A distancing before laying a second vote on the same wagon. ;)

So I finally figured out what was bugging me about Scripten.  All his votes so far have been wishy-washy and toothless!  He doesn't accuse people; he votes people almost apologetically.

Subjective and reliant on player personality, and part of a low-content section of the game but okay. Let's see what you have here.

TheDarkStar: Low content vote with no substance - Little content in this game thus far and this vote is bandwagon-y

Starts decent, if a bit thin.  Doesn't address TDS directly.

Kay. The post you cut that from had analysis of the whole wagon. Does scumhunting only count if I attach a vote to it?

Toonyman: You haven't done a whole lot of actual scumhunting this game. You've been absent for RL stuff, and I understand that, but what posts you do have seem to state facts without drawing much in the way of conclusions. I would appreciate if you could give me a short summary of what you feel you've accomplished so far this game.

No teeth in this one.

Super subjective. Also a part of scumhunting. I'm not sure exactly what you'd be expecting?

"TOONYMAN IS 100% SCUM AND I NEED NO MORE INFORMATION TO FORM MY OPINION"?

You know, I'd actually forgotten that Deathsword was even in this game. That's some impressive active lurking. Let's see some real scumhunting come from over there.

A suggestion instead of an accusation.

Wouldn't be much of a pressure vote if there was no motivation to pressure DS.

Unvote Deathsword
Vote Tiruin

Tiruin: Please respond to my question when you can. I would also like it if you were to summarize what you have done this game.

"Please when you can I would like it"

I understand politeness, but where's Bad Cop?

So I'm scum because I'm not being an asshole? Please.

The Tiruin wagon doesn't look like it's going to go anywhere before deadline. Since I highly doubt I could push a Toonyman wagon in that time, either, I'm just going to go with TDS for today. He's not contributing much of anything and has been on the edge of my scum radar most of the day.

Unvote Tiruin
Vote TheDarkStar

"Meh"

Pretty much meh, yeah. I didn't want Flabort or Pisskop lynched yesterday and Tiruin's wagon has been tough to start. I wonder why that is?

I wonder why you're pushing some amount of suspicion on Tiruin, but markedly avoiding actually challenging her. (You even defend her in this post! Not to mention the fact that you're chainsaw defending her from me.) I'm definitely seeing a connection there.

Just went through Mastahcheese's posts. He was pretty amicable toward Tiruin and I'm still thinking she's dopp, unless I missed something.

Now this, his only D2 vote, does get credit for being the first one where he actually calls someone scum... but totally fails to provide any evidence whatsoever to his case.  He's sat on it since and done nothing with it.  He's posting, but just spinning his wheels.

I'm STILL waiting for Tiruin to do something-anything to participate in this game. She's posted a low amount of posts, but what she does have are pretty lengthy, noisy posts with next to no actual content to them. She's just sort of there. Are you ignoring every post of mine that does not have a vote attached to it?

Also, look at this.  Scripten's talking about lynch targets and people he "suspects," but he's not taking ownership of any of those names.  Where does he say "I think X_PERSON should be lynched" here in this post?  Nowhere.  This is wishy-washy scum behavior.

This is funny because I went back and named names and described who/what was scummy about that. IIRC, you were one of those names, along with Tiruin.

More coming in a bit. Have a meeting now.

Scripten:  Two people does not a wagon make.  Don't act the victim here.

Subjective and reliant on player personality, and part of a low-content section of the game but okay. Let's see what you have here.

A low content section?  I summed up every vote you've made for the entire game.  If you want to discount your latest vote as your best one, then you're still calling D1 a "low content section."

Kay. The post you cut that from had analysis of the whole wagon. Does scumhunting only count if I attach a vote to it?

I'm not criticizing your hunting as a whole, I'm going after the conclusive part at the end; the vote.   You can go "this one could maybe possibly be scum" all day and it doesn't count if you don't end up at some point with "Yep, this one right here is scum for sure."

Please.

There's a wide difference between being assertive (good) and being an asshole (bad).  You've been wimpy (bad in the other direction.)  If you can't convince someone you're serious in your attack, then you're not going to get taken seriously.  If you're not being taken seriously, then you're not going to get results.

That, or you're leaving yourself a place to backpedal when your "suspicions" flip town.

I wonder why you're pushing some amount of suspicion on Tiruin, but markedly avoiding actually challenging her. (You even defend her in this post! Not to mention the fact that you're chainsaw defending her from me.) I'm definitely seeing a connection there.

[snip]

I'm STILL waiting for Tiruin to do something-anything to participate in this game. She's posted a low amount of posts, but what she does have are pretty lengthy, noisy posts with next to no actual content to them. She's just sort of there. Are you ignoring every post of mine that does not have a vote attached to it?

I've called her out more than once, but she did say in her last post that details on her vote were coming.  I'm giving her that one chance to come up with a real case.  Since you and others have harped on her for doing that exact thing, it'd be a bit redundant to add on there, and there's already plenty of noise in this thread.

And not ignoring, but paying them much less mind because they're not central to my case, which this is now twice you've misunderstood.  Did you miss my addendum as well?

This is funny because I went back and named names and described who/what was scummy about that. IIRC, you were one of those names, along with Tiruin.

You need to check your facts on this one.

No.  No sir.  You can't make a statement like this.  Even if you aren't actually asking for advice, it's blatantly obvious you're trying to farm out your vote (and thus responsibility for it) right here.  That's a cowardly scum move of a high order.
