The events of the night, as I see it: MC attacked Toony (flavour mentions MC was the aggressor), Flabort attacked Toony. All three died. If Pisskop did truly watch Toony's place, it would have had to have been a guard other than MC who saved him, and why would the doppelganger protect somebody unless they were also a doppelganger anyway?

An alternative theory:

pisskop performed the nightkill
mastahcheese the Observant Guard protects pisskop
ToonyMan kills mastahcheese protecting pisskop
flabort dies to ToonyMan
Toonyman dies getting killed by flabort and pisskop

I don't know how willing I am to jump aboard this theory but I'm certainly suspicious of pisskop for the convenience of how he managed to target ToonyMan yet somehow didn't die.

It...is strange that he'd claim such though. But considering his...remarks and previous attitude, it is plausible just as much as other theories out there.

...We only get night actions resolved when day starts (I mean, sure, there's this note of a lapse of time between Meph sending out results and 'officially' starting the day, but that'd be REALLY nitpicky...
...Until I recall that you'd also be sent a death message along with the night results >.>).
So knowing the result and then telling everyone about it, would...not occur.
UNLESS, however, you tell those trusted/otherwise about who you will target ahead of time--it seems like a more valid plan, post-massclaim.

I've highlighted the error in orange. That shouldn't have been a period- I meant to say that I sent it to them with the intent that they'd quote it if I died. Not that I was going to be sending a PM to those people if I died. This is just really poor phrasing on my part, my bad.

Why did you think that Flabort was pretty scummy?

I thought he was panicking scum after 4mask detailed his plan, which a scum player thought there would be no way out unless to reveal everything to everyone.

Also the Cheeetar thing was...seemingly random I understood it as 'hey, know this thing', because the only ones present are Me and Cheeet--so I inferred it was a PM of correspondence and such.
The PMs I sent that y'all know are...the ones I sent explaining my situation during N1 about activity. Nothing big there, and I've not started any PM to anyone other than that.

...For probably all other PM things, I'm unsure. There were indications that y'all had reports that some of us didn't receive (ie me and Toony didn't get some PMs, which seemed to be mass PMs as people say, and such)

There are a bunch of dumb PM shenanigans going on in this game.

pisskop revealed that a bodyguard contacted him in this PM series between him and flabort, which flabort PMed to me so I would post them.

Other dumb PM shenanigans going on in this game are 4maskwolf's gambit at the start of Day 1 where he PMed mastahcheese, flabort, and Deus Asmoth that he was a Human Reporter and that if he died everybody would know it was one of the three people he PMed. This caused the big ruckus on Day 1.

UXLZ PMed some people his reads on Deathsword.

NQT PMed flabort about backing him up after flabort claimed vig.

Cheeetar PMed a bunch of people during N1 that flabort wasn't a dopp and it was part of some plan he and flabort cooked up to clear flabort in the event of Cheeetar's death. Cheeetar explains that here.

There are probably some other dumb PM shenanigans going on that I don't even know about and probably ones I've forgotten.

Unvote Zombie Urist. I can empathise with seeing Flabort as being a bit too panicky in regards his interactions with 4mask- especially the role claiming. You really should have read on further, though. Vote Pisskop. I'm not buying his reporter claim one bit given the events of the night, and his conduct day 1 was scummy to the extreme. I think it's far more likely that he was scum that Mastahcheese was protecting than anything else.

Scripten, would you please outline your case on Tiruin beyond 'she was inactive'? You claimed that mastacheese was amicable to her- would you be able to provide the relevant posts in quote form?

Well, insofar as he never intended our dumb PM shenanigans to go beyond him and me. I didn't tell him I'd be PMing anybody that he was town if I died, because that would be stupid.

I'm picking my target for the reason that of my top three suspects, the scum may have protected one or two to spite me or prevent my kill going through, one has stuff that he needs to post in the morning to prove his towniness and will get lynched if he really is scum, and the third JUST got replaced in, so I'll give her a night to live.

You can relay this to the thread, I'd prefer if it doesn't leave this small circle during the night, but I have picked my target now.

All you know from the day's start is that: flabort and mastahcheese were are ToonyMan's house. Both were killed by bullets. ToonyMan was both shot and attacked by a doppelganger.
