You know, I'd actually forgotten that Deathsword was even in this game. That's some impressive active lurking. Let's see some real scumhunting come from over there.
UXLZ just voted Deathsword a few hours ago with a bunch of reasoning. Your vote is second-hand at best.

And! You did the same thing with myself right after NQT voted me. Is this a coincidence, do my eyes deceive me, or are you jumping on other people's votes to be the "second guy"? They usually don't get as much flack as the "third guy" for lynches.

Actually, I was the third guy on the Deathsword wagon, so that point is kinda moot. Anyway, not everyone can be first on a wagon and I agreed with UXLZ.

I'd actually missed NQT's post about you. Does the inertia of my recent play seem fabricated to you?

@Toaster: I haven't voted yet because I haven't quite felt like it. Each time I think someone is scummy, more stuff comes up that I feel I need to consider.
When I get home, I'm going to do more reading through everything.

Unvote Pisskop, vote Deathsword;
Could you summarize the salient points of all your reads? Links are hard to follow and they don't express your point very well.

Pisskop: It doesn't appear that he's paying attention to the thread, by skimming, and he's not holding up his promises. He's also acting somewhat dodgy and unsure, but he's improving since Thursday night.
Shakerag: Active lurking, not taking the game seriously. He has one post where he actually does some scum hunting.
TheDarkStar: Low activity, active lurking, bandwagoning, tunneling
Deathsword: Same as TDS but even less activity/content

Toonyman: Despite low post count, he actually manages to push a lot of content in his posts, and focuses on multiple people. His fixation with messing with cheese is odd.
UXLZ: High activity and although individual posts are low in content, usually, he/she has a lot to say and not much of it seems suspicious.

Flabort
((although This post is a point in his favor))

Why?  The thing that sticks out to me on there is him saying you're not a good lynch.

How big a metric is post volume in your scum ratings?

Why not "gain some standing with the town" by hunting scum?
The thing that sticks out to me is that unlike his other posts this one is not a goddamn joke, and he's actually addressing multiple people and being serious in that post.

Post volume and post surface area are both medium-large metrics in my ratings. If someone has more posts or larger posts than someone else, then there SHOULD be more scummy things in the person with more/larger posts if both players are equally scummy. Therefor, if I can find only a similar amount of scummyness between the two players, then the one with more posts has a smaller scum:content ratio.
Surface area: # of posts, variable A
Volume: Size of posts, variable V
Amount of perceived scumminess: Variable S
RealScumminess= S/((A/V)+(V/A))

Scripten I'm currently leaning neutral to scum on you, Jim, Shakerag, Mastahcheese, Deathsword and cheetar, so I want to go over those players again when I have access to more than five lines of text at a time and reevaluate them. I'm inclined to agree with UXLZ about Deathsword, but I want to do a proper readover before voting for anyone.

Thank you for the explanation of your reads, Flabort! I confess that it's a little hard to sift through that many links if you don't fully summarise them. You're now voting for Deathsword over Pisskop. Would you have been doing the same way if nobody else had been voting for Deathsword? Do you believe targeting low activity in the first day is liable to stick?

Deus, do you mean to say that you believe everyone but those named in your post are town (neutral/scum on only 6 people)?

By the way, Meph, how many votes are necessary for a lynch to occur?

Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day. In the case of a tie, no one is lynched.

By the way, Jim, is your avatar M. Bison or something else?

Is that who it is? I just thought it was sprite art of some Japanese-looking dictator dude.

Deathsword seemingly pulled the idea of this 'unwillingness' from thin air. There wasn't even enough time afterwards for him to have reasonably assumed that due to pisskop's silence, given the time between my post and his was a small 3 minutes. Between his and pisskop's, it was five, still nowhere near enough (in my opinion) for their to be any implied signs of 'unwillingness.'
It also seems to be an act of either attempting to buddy me or chainsaw defending in an effort to try and buddy with me.

For forum mafia any time difference between posts that can be measured in single digit minutes might as well be simultaneous.

Deathsword probably did not take into consideration anything you said in your post when he made his own, what with how they basically both happened at the same time, so any theory about intent and implication based on post order doesn't hold water very well.

I don't know if I fully approve of you, but I certainly approve of your vote atm.

Apparently you think UXLZ is kind of suspicious. Does him agreeing with you about Deathsword give you any hesitation?

Hmm... No, I don't think he is. He looks pretty similar, but I don't think it's Bison after all. It may just be some random dude, but he' got the Bison/Commissar look going on.

I see. I was unaware that that was how forum mafia game time differences worked.

I do still think it was an unreasonable assumption pulled from thin air, however.

Oh, yeah, it is. I was looking at the pictures and thought it wasn't M. Bison, but I didn't realise that the dark blue part of Jim's avatar was a cape.
