Gotcha. How much does that cost though? And which ones can I raise?

See Core Rulebook, p.102. The system is rather complicated.

@Gamer: When in doubt, getting at least one level of Dodge tends to be a safe bet. It'd cost 300xp in your case. Raising Fellowship with a Simple Advance (+5) would cost 100xp.

Hey, A-M, I know you said you didn't want to replace Harb and Hax because you let them in, but they just haven't shown up, and it sucks for the people who want to play the game and would be willing to post, plus our current class mix could use a couple WSs.
(Plus, at this rate of waiting for 'em, we might end up delayed.)

Or sergeants, or storm troopers.

We don't need more supports specialists, and we don't need more leadership.

They're all capable of providing the needed muscle.

Nah, I'm not really saying we need more meat, I'm saying we need more bread. We're too eclectic, and a couple of more rounded characters would do us good.

(mostly though I want to see those people who want to get in in)

I mentioned the same thing to Avis a few days back.
Guess we take different approaches. I tend to go for teams of specialists rather then Jack of all trades.

We do need a ratling or second stormie though, for a recon unit we're lacking in recon oriented characters.

>second stormie
Yo, most classes are perfectly fine for scouting... stormtroopers possibly less so, in fact, because they're more suited for BLASTING INTO THINGS with their shorter-range hotshots and do not have comrades.

But come with awareness and stealth as standard. Very effective for detecting an enemy without being detected yourself.

We could have a bunch of weapon dudes who turn into scouts in future...

Frankly, I dont know why most of the things under the advanced list are advanced.

Weapon Specialists have two of the right Aptitudes for scouting - Agility and Fieldcraft - and the stormtrooper doesn't have Perception either. They are also the party's "muscle" exactly because they're built to be good at combat, be it ranged or melee.
