Done and challenging other fighters seems to be more about RP, but I do make it a point to fulfill those challenges when I see em.  For better or worse.

So yea, my initial look at the database... it is... really light on the number of fighters, based on Eras.  With the first company, AFF, it'll probably run 1 show every 5-6 months and is in real danger of slipping under the 8 fighter minimum for 'success' with a bad set of rolls...  The balance of that will be further screwed by the player if they choose to start their own company in the same area.
Further note on the Era settings, minimum fighters is absolute minimum.  Era 2 has a minimum of 6 fighters per class.  Era 3 has a minimum of 4 fighters per class.  This doesn't mean you'll get 10 fighters per class during Era 3.  You'll still have 6 fighters per class(from the previous Era) during Era 3.  If one of those 6 fighters dies/retires during Era 3, you'll have 5 fighters and no new one will be generated.

The national countries will poach the tar out of everyone.  Heck, if all companies are open at the same time... most of the female fighters will be signed into exclusive contracts between Gamma and Alpha... and halt all the other companies for 2-4 years. (The fighters who are not poached will languish under contract with the now almost empty companies)  You may want to instead just drop them down to high regional or think about setting a start date for them(and balance stuff based around that).

Regional settings, I know its a pain, but you can probably take the Cornellverse database and erase everything on that, before importing everything else.  To at least vary the lucrativeness of each region.

... You've actually gone and turned some of the named pictures into free ones.  /me poaches em

Thanks for the clarification of era settings.  That had me confused royally.  I'll probably boost in incrementally each era, keeping era 1 settings but boosting in each era.

I had also realized that Alpha and GAMMA at random just didn't work.  The good news: With the lack of talent, either promotion will only run like three shows before dropping to high regional.  Without player intervention, they'll stay at high regional for a long while (in fact, I've never seen either rise to national again).

Having the named pictures converted into free ones is the major theme of this mod.  But it's tiring, tedious work, so I can only do a few at a time.  I think I'm about half done.  Steal the rest when I finish!

Alright, its a small update, but it is one as I get back in the groove.
I ended up deciding to make it Bantamweight.  Makes breaking in our two new fighters a tiny bit easier. 
Actually, it seems to be bringing popularity up pretty quickly...

Oh yea, forgot to mention, Era settings... you don't have to set things up for fighters to show up before the company.  They'll automatically start to generate a month or 2 after a company pops up.  Not all at once mind you, they'll keep popping till it hits the minimum.

Couldn't figure out how to port the Cornellverse database without destroying it.  So I manually changed all the regions through a scientific method know as "guessing".  I attempted to at least make it interesting.   For a small promotion, drug testing costs can be fatal, so I sought to provide several unregulated areas, even late in a game.
