[5-1 for bound hands] Chong is unable to pull his knife but maintains his 2-handing grip on the cudgel. Seeing him not relent, the other coated person turns around and gets into stance. [16 v 18,2] Chong nearly closes the distance to get a swing in, but the first one swings his arms and the metal around Chong's wrists jerks to the side, halting his charge and knocking him off balance. [7 v 9] The other one throws another strip of metal, curving around Chong's ankle and knocking him to the ground, but it doesn't wrap enough to stay on.

The man on the ground starts crawling away.

[5-1 from being on the ground v 14+1] Chong attempts to leap up to strike one of the coated people but the one on the right foils his attempt to get to his feet by bending the metal around his wrists again, pulling him off balance.

[13-1 from being on the ground v 7] Somehow he manages to jump to his feet, and comes up swinging, cracking the coated figure in the chest and sending him sprawling back wards into the car. The other one reacts, [7 v 6] but is forced to step back rather than complete a full bending motion.

The man on the ground scrambles into a crawling position and goes around to hide behind the car.
