It is a wonder why nobody noticed that. Hrmm. But at least our Manceritude is coming back fast!
But. Come to think of it, our problem is that our good friend is dead. You know who knows a lot about being dead? Death cultists cultists like the one by the ol' sacrificial slab!
We ought to pay them a visit.

Also, while we're at it... I'm beginning to wonder about the curious words used to describe actions. They obfuscate rather wonderfully the different spells and make everything a bit more difficult when deciphering what does what, but that doesn't mean they're impossible to translate. It just means you may want to have a dictionary ready.
For instance, to Larinize is to give a Latin form to a word. Latin is often used at a 'magical' language, so in this case we're literally giving Latin magic to the words and making them work.
With other words, such as Remancitype, we have to break it down into multiple parts. For instance, Remanance and Type seem to make, Remancitype.
What that actually means however is a bit of a mystery. Remanance is the product of an object to retain a magnetic charge and Type simply means what something is or what qualities it possesses. Which doesn't make sense.
However! It comes from the latin word remenare though, so perhaps the latin word Reman might make more sense, which is to restore the 'manliness' or 'courage' of an object. Or in other words, renew it's type and give it form. Which, in hindsight makes some sense! Maybe.
Though, that does make me curious about belt. Belt has multiple active meanings, including from to beat something down, or to 'belt it out'. In singing terms, to belt a piece of music has an entirely different context.

Final thoughts.
Metamancy. It's a basic idea, but I may as well dissect it for kicks as well. Meta is of a creative work, referring to itself or to the conventions of its genre; self-referential. Mancy as a prefix is divination by a specified means.
Therefore, a Metamancer is one who divines the meaning of the context of the world around them and the conventions of their world. This knowledge presumably allows them to ascend it as well, breaking the rules and supplanting them with their own.
Hoo!
