But I don't like spreadsheets! I like notepad files, and text documents and ctrl-f!

But I've already decided to cut out flavor from the update, because that would take up way too much time.
But I have a very particular way that I structure things, and I don't think I'd very much enjoy working with a co-gm, particularly since a lot of the game isn't even written anywhere, it's just by memory. That's how most of my things are, actually.
And the things that are written down are largely indecipheable because of the method by which I categorize things, and that suits me fine.

I used to be a forum game maker like you, but then I leveled up and started using spreadsheets.

Mastah is just busy with a bunch of real life stuff right now.  No need to worry.

Mastah is just busy with a bunch of real life stuff right now.  No need to worry.
Specifically, I was taking my wife to a different city for more studies on her leukemia. (Please don't clutter up the thread with "hope things get better", because I know half of you want to, and if you really feel the need to say it, send me a PM instead.)

I only just got back, so I'm waaaay too tired to try updating right now, but I do have a fair bit of the update already done.

Notepad ++.
Better than Notepad. Also I recall a thread in the DF Modding(?) which lets you color-change specific tags in the DF raws--perhaps this same technique can be used to aid you.

I'm curious, what bits do you have left to do?

I don't use Notepad ++ .
It seems that if people add in even the slightest attempts at "features", I don't like it.

Maybe I'll get it some day.

I have all the actual information sorted out, I just need to put it into turn-form, rather than info-form.

I actually have maybe 5 or so people's turns done already, just have the other 31 or so to go.

Now that I think about it, I have a query. Is it possible to swear loyalty to another lord and raise him up as a king?

:O
Maybe we're on different wavelengths here x3
Its not the 'features' that say 'U HAVE NO CHOICE IN THIS THIS IS HOW IT GOES', nope. But its more like DF--it has all the functionality of notepad (also split screen awesomeness {right click tab > clone to[...]}*_*) and it is very fluid in its function.
It's awesome! :3

...Also you could word that more detailed. It'd come off as 'any added features from the original = nu liek D:<'
Unless I am getting this wrong ._. sorry ahead.

I think what he's saying is that he's disliked all attempts at new features so far--and is thus likely to dislike any future "notepad with more stuff"-type programs--not that he's actually opposed to new features.

Quickedit: I'm not mastahcheese, though, so I can't say for sure. Why did I even post this?

Correction or addition of ideas. Is a nice thing. Silly. c:
Gave me another idea of how to look at it. Thanks! :P

Actually, EP was rather correct in that :P

But... eh, I'll try it some day.

Now that I think about it, I have a query. Is it possible to swear loyalty to another lord and raise him up as a king?
I suppose?

If you really wanted to.

Also, not working on turn right now, because my internet won't stay stable, and I even have the stupid laptop physically plugged in right now, and it still is spotty.
Much rage. Wow.

I'd guess it'd be related to the comment about spotty internet.
