So, since I'm in a mountain range, can I talk to those south of me within the turn or do I have to wait an extra turn to traverse it?
You still have to follow the rules for messangers.
I mean, unless you want your character to go do that.
Which, I mean, I suppose that would be an efficient form of communication, if not wretchedly dangerous.
Apiks is to the far east and south, where the mountains end. Since my area is 99% mountain, does this mean I have hindered movement through my territory?
Oh, I know what you mean now.
No, terrain only takes effect during an actual battle. It's assumed that there are known mountain passes and roads for messengers and spies and whatnot, including army movement where there aren't enemies present.
Can I use it for ambush points?

You can use practically anything as an ambush point.
Combat hasn't been detailed yet, but trust me, it'll be a hell of a lot simpler than everything else once it gets to it.

Let's move onto consensus agreements, aye? From memory--the first and most crucial thing we need is knowledge of the turn limit. Are there going to be timed turns, and if so: when? I'd suggest at least 3 days and spanning up to a week or so, to handle all these players.

Can we actually find out of all the houses, who HASN'T posted?

Oh, is that why we haven't got updates yet, nice to know.

This is why we need a time limit. Inevitably, someone will forget to post their actions and we'll be waiting forever for them to post.

I don't know if everyone has actually posted actions, but everyone from the list in the OP of the IC thread has posted a spoiler.

I already did a check through the thread. Everyone has posted, I'm just waiting until I can actually have time to do this where I'm not being interrupted by people.

Sorry!

Also, it would be great if we kind of worked together to help Mastahcheese on this. He is GM, but we can help by having a document or something to mark everyone who posted and then run through the list of people who didn't post.

I'll probably do it on the next post just to give you a hand Mastahcheese; after all, it's the least I can do for not rebooting the D&D thread >_<

I've already got a notepad page of all the players on it that I use to go through a check names off. I've prepared for that already.
What I decided to do (while I was contemplating at work) was to make a "known rules compendium" in the OP for everyone's sake.
I'll do that when I find time.

*Mastahcheese collapses*

You can also find a copy of this in the OP, for easier finding.

I appreciate the effort, just in case that wasn't clear :-\

I will probably have to edit my actions again though, to reflect this. But not tonight. Bad mood and fatigue aren't very motivating heh.
