Kinda a random question but when you guys were creating your nations, were you inspired by a real life kingdom/empire?

My nation is a bit based on Carthage. Powerful navy, trading, etc. Of course I didn't copy Carthage completely, mostly.

I had taken a mixture of influences.

First: warg riders in LOTR. Second was Scandinavia for the people/culture (aka everything I took from Vikings and Norse Mythology with some extras) and lastly, and the one I realized and came with more stuff with was Game of Thrones with some of the culture, the children with wolves, etc, but mostly it was the former two. My original idea was instant troops or berserkers, but then I thought "man, I need something original... Now what's different that hasn't been done yet?"

And thus came Hosue Vargson: the Sons of the Wolf

One question that I have for the GM....

Could you please explain how the traits that we picked in the beginning affect us?

For example, if someone picks the trait "Tough", how does that trait affect battles, politics, luck, etc?

Based on late medieval Habsburg Austria, mostly, with a little bit of Prussia and Venetia. Focusing on espionage and alliances more than straight military strength.

If you mean on the GM's update schedule I should point out that this is one of the biggest suggestion games on the forum and that the Gm has to keep track of many things, also the next thing I need to mention is that the Gm is offline and therefore he probably hasn't read our posts yet so therefore he can't update.

Ah well, we can wait. Although I do understand your concern.

Then I will have to -1 that suggestion since this game takes a while to update and I think it's a bit pointless to impose a 24 hour limit if the game itself isn't going to update at that rate

honestly the time limit is all up to Mastacheeses decision, he will choose one that he believes is best for him and the players. I'm only against the time limit because I don't want their to be a 48 hour down time after the 24 hour time limit.

For the time limit, I'm merely suggesting ideas for Mastacheeses so it might be easier for him if he knows what we want(Demand). For example if 10 people +1 the idea of a 36 hour limit, it would make Mastacheeses's decision a lot easier.
