She's still needed for making a prince right? If you have no prince and the king is dead then the kingdom suffers heavilly. Hence, why marrying her ourselves would make us a prince of darkness sort of character and begin our rise t hrough the ranks of the world.

Plus, how awesome would it be to have something like this as our country: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk2vrRKel6k

Minus the death or soemthing we would be an awesome Tyrant! :D

so we could be like a..... Prince of Doom?

Pretty much.

You got her that bow. You got her that armor. And she's your prisoner, not your friend. You don't need to get her a bunny. You don't even need to apologize. Immediately you set your sights on stealing the jewel from the lady. As soon as Robert is healed, you hand him 500 gold to create shades to steal the jewel.

You teleport them to the Manor where the lady is residing. The five shades wait patiently outside for your orders, meanwhile scouting the house. The Manor is four stories tall, with a grand main entrance and multiple servant entrances. There are more than fifty windows, though only a few are open. There are ten hired guards patrolling outside, probably more inside. There is a carriage arriving, carrying a fat man in puffed up clothing with a lot of jewels. Probably a guest or suitor.

Shades are invisible, detectable only by high level holy spells or warding spells, though you doubt regular nobles would bother with such expensive defenses. They cannot pass through walls, nor can they fly. They hover off the ground and weigh nothing. They cannot interact with physical objects: so they can't kill anything or pick up anything. Shades are able to possess people, regardless of their level. However, they cannot leave the host body until the host is killed. Possessing a host gives you complete control over their body.

Through Robert you can directly control your shades simultaneously. The target is the Jade Jewel, belonging to Lady Mary Anne.

Take control of a few guards and the man, go inside and kill the lady and fight our way out, after she is killed maybe send some skeletons and a brute to help the fight out

Why kill who we can take. We have 5 shades. We and two throw in some confusion with the gaurds on a farther part of the castle, while the other three take over her and two gaurds that will be willing to watch over her, while she preforms her normal duties of gaurding the jewel for us.

Gentlemen, we can possess the guest, make it ask to see the jewel, the lady takes us there, then we possess the lady and make her give the jewel as a gift for us. Easy, no deaths, the thieves guild will love us.

Gentlemen, we can possess the guess, make it ask to see the jewel, the lady takes us there, then we possess the lady and make her give the jewel as a gift for us. Easy, no deaths, the thieves guild will love us.

Let's do this.

Edit: Let's posses the guest first and then have the rest follow him inside. Ask about the Jewel and offer a trade. The goal is to find the Jewel. Then posses her and take it.

Have them both get in the carriage with the jewels and a few extras. We'll give it to the thieves as a bonus.

The only issue i have with that plan is that nobody dies.

Exactly. We may even end up getting the whole mansion if we pull this right.

You command your shades to possess the guest as he comes out of his carriage. The portly man struggles getting down the carriage, needing help from two of his bodyguards. The shade easily enters his body through the nose and mouth. The portly man begins coughing violently, but the shade is in control. Your shade pulls out a napkin and begins wiping the blood from his nose.

"Are you alright, milord?"

"Yes, yes. I'm, uh, fine."

He heads for the manor with the guards. They are greeted by a valet and a butler, who happily escort them into the manor. They are told to wait in the study: a vast library with three large chairs and a intricately carved coffee table. The shade is served tea with wild honey and waits for Lady Mary Anne to appear. She appears soon: an old woman, but proud and tall. She wears an elegant red gown and covers herself in fine jewelry, but the one that catches your eye is the large, jade crystal on her neck.

"Well, how nice of you to visit, Mortimer," she says, taking a seat and sipping her teacup.

"How nice of you to let me in, Mary," the shade says casually. Shades can steal some of the memories of their host. Mortimer here is an old friend of Lady Mary Anne, and the shade has learned his speaking patterns and habits. Some memories are lost, however.

The two talk the whole afternoon. Quite frankly, you're quite bored. But the shade seems to be enjoying himself, given that he's spent a century in hell and this is one afternoon with nobility. The other shades have been snooping around the manor, searching every room. One room is locked magically, however. Probably the room of the lady's personal magician.

"Oh, Mary, you look marvelous. Might I have a look at the Jade Jewel around your neck? Is it new?"

She arches an eyebrow and laughs. "Oh, Mortimer, you and your greedy eyes. You can have it if you want." She merrily unclasps the jewel necklace and hands it to the shade. This is easier than you thought it would be. As the shade examines it, two guards enter the room and slash the neck of the shade. The shade is exorcised from the body painfully as Mortimer drops his teacup.

"Don't think I can't see you, shade. I'm not just an old lady who eats biscuits and sips tea. 'Is it new'? Mortimer gave me this necklace. You possessed my best friend, and for that I'll find whoever sent you. Your after my Gemstone aren't you? The Golden Sun Company has put out an offer to any thief to take it. You're not the first."

The shade is starting to panic. "What now? Are you going to send me back to hell?"

"Hell is too good for thieves like you." She pulls out a strange icon and points it at the shade. "Goodbye, monster." The shade is engulfed in something and disappears. You can't detect where it went. It's as if it stopped existing.

"Search the manor. There might be more of them." Her guards nod and run out of the study. Your shades are scattered throughout the manor. Hopefully her guards can't see the shades like she can.

Have the shades possess a few guards and then teleport a group of brutes and grunts to the front entrance to charge in and assist in the fight, kill the old hag

See if there is an archer among the guards. If there is, have a shade possess him and use the other three on some other guards. Create fighting just outside the Lady's room to distract her and have the archer snipe her.
