Hi everyone I wanted to try this

So just got an emulator and fire red so I though I would try out the hardmode challange

The main character is named Goldwym


(hope I dont discrace the name) while the rival will be named Xantlos


Note both names have a letter removed to make them fit

Now I will play and post an update later

Post any ideas or thoughts
Rules 1.I can only capture the first Pokemon I meet in a new zone unless it is a Pokemon I have already captured before (to prevent having five of the same Pokemon)
Rule 2 if a Pokemon fainted they are dead no revives no magic healing bringing them back and have to be released
Rule 3 I must give a name to all Pokemon I catch (so I can form an attachment to each one)
Rule 4 If a town I go to contains a body of water or a gift Pokemon like Bill’s Eevee in G/S/C/HG/SS, that may be considered a Pokemon of a new area.

First pokemon

A charmander with my username (seemed appropriate)

If anyone wants a pokemon named after them or has any ideas for names suggest them

Now the adventure can begin.

After picking my starter ((and beating down my rival))

I headed home to patch hellhounds wounds and show him off before heading into the wilderness, slapped some fools down who decided to prey on teenagers outside of a small town and along the way hellhound learned ember before arriving in Viridian city and having an old man be an ass and stop me from progessing

before being informed by a mart owner that he wanted me to deliver a parcel back in the town I just left 
After a quick back and forth and now carrying cages

pokeballs encountering a pokemon on my steps out of Viridian

You obey me now Airstrike
A quick jog around and the team now stands at a total of four a mankey named Urist for her rage and a weedle named night shade for his poison

Ready to take on the forest

And that will be all for tonight any suggestions anyone?

then fought my way to the gym all without casualty's
 
after a giant rock monster got his tail kicked by a monkey

I recived a badge and now strive to new areas to fill out my team
