Trump hasn't said anything anti-gay while campaigning that I know of and many of his supporters practically worship Milo Yiannopoulos, who is a flaming homosexual. To me, Trump's recent speech on the Orlando massacre didn't have a hint of homophobic sentiment either. He is no Ted Cruz.

It’s like in golf. A lot of people — I don’t want this to sound trivial — but a lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive. It’s weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can’t sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I think people are really missing the joke here.  The dude was acting like I was replying to a post that hadn't been made yet.  In doing so he characterized my views as the exact opposite of what I actually expressed.  As such I noted that time is linear and then repeated the tongue in cheek statement that annoyed him.
