Yep. r/news deleted all the comments on the thread identifying the shooter and locked it, but redditors are still voting it up to the top. They aren't having any more censorship, I think.

Reddit isn't a government. If this is even true then it's suppression, and not censorship. People are not being executed, jailed, or facing criminal proceedings for posting on reddit.

Please stop confusing suppression for censorship which is a real thing that people actually have to worry about.

And this day is going to pass, and no true change will come out of this, will it? People are inevitably going to put up rainbow flags in solidarity, sure, relevant voices are going to speak, but nothing is going to truly change from this one event, even with how bad it is, just like every other tragedy.

A decision-informing worldview and ethos and consistent application of the principles of that ethos.

I'm sick of people on both sides politicizing these tragedies and using them to push their anti-tragedy agendas.  The bodies are still on the floor of the club and people are already using it to trump up their agendas about how we should have fewer mass shootings.

On the bright side, /r/orlando is helping with the blood drive.  The phones at the donation centers are all locked up, but there's important information - homosexuals are allowed to donate blood for this disaster.
