Oh yes because it's completely unlike a conspiracy theory to make vague innuendos about details of the facts and then weave them into a narrative to support all their assumptions.

I will grant you I was too harsh.  The Hillary is to blame for Benghazi conspiracy is no more a conspiracy theory then the accusations that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor in advance.

The sad thing is that the reality crowd moves on while the conspiracy theorists never forget.  As a result Pearly Harbor conspiracy theories are downright mainstream.  So 70 years from now it will probably be mainstream to say that Bush was behind 9/11 or Hillary was behind Benghazi.

It could be worse.  Many people act downright incredulous when you say that the civil war was fought over the issue of slavery, despite numerous documentation from people on all sides of the political spectrum stating that in exactly as many words.  Humans...

Isn't that a symptom of the US education system being shit, though? I mean I doubt there'd be many Germans who'd deny that WW2 happened because Germany went full Reich.

... no? There's not many parts of the US education system that aren't pretty clear on why the civil war was fought. The influence in that area is coming from other directions.
