No, it isn't a winner-take-all state

And besides, it's not about the delegates but about finishing strong so you can survive to the later contests when there are fewer candidates.

Super Tuesday is when the delegate fight REALLY begins, and it looks like the entire pack is planning on making it to and through that point.

NH: "The Party Decides" turns into "The Party Still Can't Make Up Its Damn Mind".

EDIT: Cruz's lead back down to 14 votes over Bush.

The party decides but there is a factory recall immediately after.

"The Party Decides" is a book that's been getting a lot of buzz recently, that posits that the party establishment effectively controls the nomination process moreso than the rank-and-file voters. That's been rather untrue in this year's cycle.

Where are you looking at for the results? The local NH news thing and WaPo have a 200-300 difference and on CNN, that turned into a 500 vote difference a min ago.

Oh, that.  Did we bash it to bits already?  Or was that just the news?

http://www.decisiondeskhq.com/

Seems to be updating faster than WaPo or CNN.

And yeah now Cruz's lead is back up to 469.

It's been bashed to bits on the republican side, but the jury is still out for the democrats, thanks to their superdelegates :P

The party hasn't decided on the republican side.  Look at the endorsements in the GOP vs in the democrats. http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-endorsement-primary/
The party decided in one race and it's been pretty orderly.  The party didn't in the other, Rubio has fewer nominations then any frontrunner before, and it's pretty chaotic.

The notion of the party decides is also more then just the DNC or RNC chairperson casts a vote and everyone falls in line.  It's that the majority of the party actors, ranging all the way from lowly campaign volunteers to the sitting president will buttress whichever candidate seems best to the collective wisdom.  Nominations are just a good quantifiable metric, not the entire ballgame.

The party decided that Clinton was the winner long before she officially made her run. :P
