Caucuses don't have statistical ties. :V

After last time, a tie might actually count as a tie this year.

I meant like metaphorically, like they'll be so close to each other that it might as well be 50/50

I'm actually disappointed that Trump's falling behind. I didn't want Trump to be elected President, but I've gotten far too much enjoyment out of people mocking Trump and Trump's mocking people to see him go now without missing him at least a little. Ideally he would've won the nomination then lost the general by a comfortable margin.

I see this. The polling data so far paints that very picture. The allocated delegates are going to have a tough decision.

Cruz now leading by nearly 2%

GOP reporting site appears to have crashed. Guess even the AIs that secretly run the world could not compute the possibility of a Cruz win.

Also, keep in mind that election results (at least in the US) to swing overly conservative in early reporting, because rural areas have less precincts and votes to tally, and rural areas tend to be more conservative. Urban areas are typically the last to report and more liberal. Which is one big reason you see conservative mooks, year after year, claim that liberals "steal" elections because the vote tallies swung back to the left near the end.

Urban areas are typically the last to report and more liberal.

But it's hard to say how much that is going to matter on the republican side since it's not a two way race.  It's possible that Cruz's razor thin margin will hold.

Quote from: Nate Silver
Jeb Bush is currently projected to win about 2,600 votes in Iowa, or about 2 percent of the overall turnout. That would work out to one vote per $25,000 in spending by Bush’s super PAC, Right to Rise, which has spent a total of $64.8 million so far. (Granted, not all of that money has been spent in Iowa.)

HAHAHAHAHA

Looks like the election might turn out the way the pollsters predicted.

To me, the pollsters predicted it flip-flopping between Trump and Cruz.
