If Trump is elected, would people start limiting the powers of the president (especially with a Democrat Supreme Court)?

Edit: I don't mean writing new legislation; I mean interpreting or reinterpreting existing legislation.

I sure as hell hope they'd try, given that him with uncontrolled access to the US's political and military power sounds like even more of a disaster than Reagan.

On the other hand, I can just talk about how dangerous shitposting is and the threat it poses to our countries values and ethics.

Donald Trump won't be President. He might be Republican Candidate, but I have enough faith in the general ability of the populace to not be complete dumbasses that enough Republicans would vote for the Democratic candidate if Trump was their other option.

Though all the hate being lobbed on him by Democrats is I think part of what's boosting his popularity among Republicans.

Not that I know of.  I just find the idea of following a proper Nero fascinating.  (Going by popular reputation.  There's indication that Nero didn't actually dance with a fiddle as Rome burned).

I'd definitely classify Trump as a clown, he acts out for attention.
But he's damn good at it, and his personal success suggests that he's actually quite shrewd.
Thus, acting the fool, but grinning behind the mask.

It says that nowhere in the article. It was Yet Another Latin American Communist Coup Counter-Invasion (the coup orchestrated by the Cubans, who had a dictatorship take over and suspend the constitution of the country), really, ostensibly with some American students under potential danger although that has been a point of debate.
