Welp, IranSailorGate 2016 lasted for all of about 12 hours. The sailors and their two small craft have been released by the Iranians, and apparently the boats they're using are standard tech, so there's nothing the Iranians would have gained from looking at them.

If you're Russia and you're calling Germany a bitch, it could be a good strategy, arguably. Either they'll laugh it off, and focus their defensive lines towards Austria-Hungary and France, allowing you to swoop in and grab Scandinavia, or they come at you, opening themselves up to attack from the rear, while fighting a land war in Russia, which, as we all know, is a terrible idea. If you ally with the Ottomans, Austria-Hungary will rush Germany's ass, allowing the Ottomans to grab Greece and the territories north of it.
We should play Diplomacy on the forums sometime.
