Ahh, Granola is muesli basically? I've always wondered about that.

I'm also interested in the lone packet of pretzels, nobody has mentioned that. Do they have beer to go with that?

It's unnecessary anyway. Humans share 20% of their DNA with yeast, therefore human flesh is 20% as effective in leavening bread, and they have plenty of that.

Pretty sure I read three cases of beer. So I suppose they could mix beer and flour and make a makeshift dough.


This is an interesting little tidbit -- they've been saying their supplies are dwindling and begging people to send more, but local law enforcement confirms that the road is not blocked and YallQaeda (I can't even call them a militia anymore) are free to come and go as they please.

Is this just an elaborate con game to get a lifetime supply of Funyuns for free? Would fit their pattern of wanting free shit just because MURRICA FUCK YEAH. Its like GoFundMe with guns.

Seems more like the father is totally overreacting. Accusing a female TSA officer of "groping" his 10 year old daughter doesn't really sound like the response fits the incident. Just sounds more like he's outraged a 10 year old would ever get secondary screening.

Heh...that was at RDU. The TSA there does seem pretty strict compared to other airports I go through (and unfortunately, RDU is my home airport). But then I was usually flashing Justice Dept credentials when I went through. Did have to do the millimeter-wave scanner one time though. Hope they enjoyed looking at my junk.

It's not completely inconceivable that someone would give a/their kid the disguised contraband to deflect suspicion. The TSA officer followed the proper and expected procedure, and that's all we can really ask of the guys on the ground. They may have even found a female officer to do it.
