Props to Kasich for pointing out that reckless tax cut promises are just as bad as reckless benefits promises.

EDIT: And there's the first "fuck your bell".

Dont answer the question and get more time, brilliant!

EDIT: And there's the first "fuck your bell".

And the second!

Many economists expect a recession?  Damn, I feel really left out.

Wonder how many others are going to copy that tactic...

"You think you had it rough? In my day we used to feel lucky to have the price of a cup of tea"
"A cup of cold tea"
"With no milk or sugar"
"...or tea"
"In a cracked cup, an’ all."
"Oh, we never had a cup. We used to have to drink out of a rolled up newspaper."
"The best we could manage was to suck on a piece of damp cloth."

I am curious about a bit of a detail... has a Republican ever presided over economic growth that wasn't a result of a war? I'm actually curious on this point.

I should clarify- a Conservative president.
Well they've presided over some asset bubbles, mainly due to not being willing to "interfere" in the market to keep the bubble in check. Too many people making a profit in the short term for responsible management.

Newsflash, Rubio: In the long run, welding robots are cheaper than welders.

Only in the super long run. So many welding jobs aren't very effective to mechanize, because no two chunks of metal are exactly the same and good welding requires skill and continual checking.

Jeb Bush is taking a page out of the Jim Webb political juggernaut?

Most presidents have presided over growth.  Bush and Hoover are the only exceptions in the 20th century AFAIK.

Did Bush just say he'd repeal the Clean Water Act?

I think Bush went past the bell already. What was the question again he was asked?

Fiorina is asked about Democrats having a better track record at growth, talks about a woman she met. Have not heard a single item to answer the question.

Gets an ovation, with a "fuck your bell" to boot.

Maniac, what's your opinion of Firorina's "3 page tax code"?
The tax code is long because we want things to be in there.  Yeah we could probably get a better code that's shorter but you aren't going to get down to 3 pages without doing some horrible fucking stuff.

Edit: Oh so all Rand Paul wants is for us to do a negative nominal interest rate on reserve holdings, why didn't he say so six years ago?  If only he told us he was so easy to please!

Yeah, because there's no income equality in Texas. *eyeroll*

EDIT: Isn't a lack of income equality a hallmark of socialism? Did Rand Paul basically just say that Republican-led cities and states are more socialist?
