Wait, did I hear that right, Jindal wants to create one class that is more and more dependent on government while the other gets all the wealth or something? Or maybe he said that's what Washington is trying to do.

Almost sounds like Jindal is saying to students with debt, 'you're now up a creek with a swiss cheesed paddle, bye!'

Also, none of them are really using their time wisely and instead are wasting it to attack Obama. :P

Kudos to Graham and Pataki discussing climate change in a rational manner though.

Ugh, lightning round nonwithstanding, I hate those stupid information-less questions they are doing there.

AAAND Jindal invokes socialism again in his closing statement....

I don't think any of them neccesarily came out ahead, though Graham and Pataki did slightly better IMO because they at least were willing to talk about climate change.

cnbc flash poll or whatever you call those has pretty high numbers for graham, among repubs.

not like internet flash polls during debates mean much, but graham's got like 68, jindal is runner up with 20.

Well, Graham DID have a pretty good performance in there.

I like how Huckabee and Christie are competeing for 10th place in the 'who do you think will win the debate' flash poll. Sort of in a schadenfreudian way.

Edit: CNBC is certainly being a bit behind schedule for some reason.

Edit: It was supposed to start 10 minutes ago :/ At least Fox and CNN are timely.

http://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/cnbc-republican-debate-presidential-election-2016/ Well said dave, well said!, lol.

CNBC is bad at this......

I have to agree. Holy crap do they take forever. CNN at least had some sense of quality to it. It didn't help that the moderator got walked all over.

As I said, at least FOX and CNN are timely.

I don't think they should host another debate if they are like this with timelyness.

Fiorina dodged the question too, I think, or the captions got interrupted by the applause or laugher.

Edit: Silly christie, it's YOUR weakness, not the opponents weaknes.

"We'll have a big fat wall in the middle of the wall" Huh trump??

And Trump takes offense to the phrasing of the question. And evidently loves Mexicans.

Did he say that he would add a big fat wall on top of the wall he's already planning? I'm not sure what he said actually.

"We'll have a big fat wall in the middle of the wall" Huh trump??

I have no context whatsoever for what this means, but I'm imagining a "walls all the way down" argument in response to "what happens if they get over the wall?"

I forget what the question was, something economic and then he somehow got to walls and immigrants from there.

Lol, was that a thinly veiled 'you're too young' quip disguised as a question to Rubio? The question has absolutely nothing to do with economics....

This debate is a farce, on both faults of the candidates and CNBC.

It's more CNBCs fault (almost 15 minutes late? Come on.....) with the candidates taking advantage of CNBCs incompetence at this.

Editwhile typing: And they haven't done a new economic question yet........

I'd just like to interject and note that this thread's humor quotient increases significantly when I look at everything through a "fuck, marry, kill"  perspective.

Hehe, Cruz took a shot at the questions. I sense a brewing revolt on the moderators.

At least you have to give Cruz kudos and possibly balls to call out the moderators.

I wonder if CNBC is doing any more debates? i'll look during the commercial.
