I'm pretty sure Bush would be a competent president. He only has two different presidencies worth of support to draw on. Popular or fair would be different matters.

Fiorina though.....strikes me as a more articulate version of Palin. She doesn't have any actual experience in government, but believes sitting at the head of a multinational qualifies her to run. I honestly think she is in the race because a) she has the money and b) Republicans really wanted a serious female candidate. Once in office I'd expect her to be completely beholden to corporate interests, since that's where her expertise lies.

Are you SURE you want a third Bush as president?

It wasn't an endorsement. Like I said, I think he would be competent. I.e., would not fuck up the situation so bad he'd be sitting in the oval office with a bottle of whiskey and closest advisers shouting "we're fucked! I need suggestions people!"

Because that's how I see the likes of Trump and Fiorina handling things.

Well yeah, bush would just fuck the situation up and not say or do anything about it, probably trying to keep things quiet or deflect attention from his fuckups until the next president comes in and inherits the shitmire he made in the interim. Competent is not words I'd use in tandem with bush in a political leadership position :-\

There'd be no shouting and whiskey, though, no. At least no shouting.

This is a sign of the end times. He is the false prophet of the apocalypse. After speaking to our leaders and turning them to his vile cause, he and Obama (the antichrist) will meet with world leaders at the UN to create One World Government. Prepare yourselves, friends.

I imagine it'll be like this, except he'll be in the same room.

Honestly if the pope was running for US President, he'd have to run as a Democrat. Just think about that.

I dont think the democratic party is willing to vote for someone who is against birth control.  The pope would need to run as a third party challenger.

Democratic party as in the establishment, the people who actually vote in primaries, the media, or some sort of combo?

Right now My top three GOP candidates are Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Ben Carson wait, that guy's an idiot
Well I hate the rest of them so I'll just stick to Bush/Rubio
I really need to do more research on these candidates though
