I'm a few days late, but at this point I'm tempted to register Republican and vote for Trump just on the hope that the American people get the president that we deserve, even if he isn't the one we need right now. If a cowboy actor can become a famous and beloved politician for undoing decades of good work, why not a talking toupee?

I realize why I like this debate: I'm invested enough that I care about the outcome, but not such that I'm invested in a particular candidates.

I have to compliment the moderators: they're not being nice to the candidates with the questions they're asking. It's a given that most candidates are slimeballs, of course, but it's always good to make them reveal it when you can.

[EDIT: Also, props to Kasich on defending the Medicaid expansion, even if he had to invoke Reagan to do it. So far as I can tell he's about the only guy on stage with any integrity, which is of course why he can't possibly win the primary.]

Yeah but the negotiations are over, thank god.  No way we could get a deal under these conditions.
