And here, I was thinking 'now we wait for the many grandsons and sons to duke it out for the throne' when I heard he died.

Such is the problem of long lived monarchs. Although I think the British have got it handled, I don't see them squabbling for the throne when Queen Elizabeth dies or when Charles (the second in line) dies.

This REALLY should go into the Europolitics thread though because monarchy has no place here in this thread.
