Heyo, fascism!  O'Malley loses the debate by Poe's law.

I bet someone could find a quote of Bill Clinton saying that same line Sanders just used about no longer fighting the Cold War in the 1992 race.

Whenever Sanders is friendly, Clinton reminds me of a bobblehead.

Kinda surprised the main question isn't if he's Jewish, tbh

Well if you know you dont need to ask.  If you dont know, you dont know to ask.

...Weird shot of Google autocomplete results for "Is Bernie Sanders "

"Is Bernie Sanders still running for president"
"Is Bernie Sanders a vegetarian"
"Is Bernie Sanders vegan"
"Is Bernie Sanders good"

It's weird because they skipped three results and it sorts looks like a suspicious place to cut?
Also apparently people mostly want to know if he's married, rich, or... left... handed.

Kinda surprised the main question isn't if he's Jewish, tbh

He doesn't make a big deal over his religion and doesn't keep it secret either.

Oh man, O'Malley was actually saying something interesting for a while there.  And he was so surprised too!

So on the whole I'd say Sanders did well, the mysterious being on the left got a foothold in this dimension, and the latest aggressive Obama-Clinton compatibility patch leaves me with some doubts on whether her programmers are taking the correct route here.

I wonder if the mysterious being on the left will be the next mayor of Nightvale.

My money's on it bumming around a little longer while it collects some more matter and anchors itself more firmly in reality, and then settling for either a cabinet position or a comfortable retirement in that state it's from that doesn't exist.

Oh god, Clinton is basically the obnoxious "UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10 TODAY!" nag screen. IT'S THE SAME BUT BETTER! WE SWEAR! YOU CAN"T USE THE OLD VERSION FOREVER.

So, anyone care to summarize the democratic debate?

So, anyone care to summarize the democratic debate?

The candidates rehashed what they said at the last four debates.

Although people are starting to acknowledge Bernie exists... and a couple of people might have heard spooky noises from a third place on the stage.

there was an environmental topic but it got interrupted and ignored
seriously that was creepy
the ghost podium suggested that the candidates agree to a pledge
*instantly* cut to break before anyone can speak
when they come back, new topic

Yeah that was wierd, O'Malley did his pledge thing then suddenly commercial break. And then back to a brief comment by another reporter and then ANOTHER commercial break.

The method that they employed to keep candidates on time worked pretty well, other stations should try that with the republican debates.
