I seem to recall saying I would laugh if Trump ended up becoming the face of the republican party, despite the party's objections.

At this rate, I should get ready to laugh, I think.

Bush continues to flag, and Rubio seems to be gaining on him with the Establishment crowd. That is a very interesting development, frankly. After Walker went down, I can't help but feel anyone could go next, and all we have are worlds of probability to work with.
I bet Christie will dominate the undercard, which would make one wonder how the heck he got there in the first place.
He tried to make it to the big-kid debate, but got stuck in traffic on the bridge.

Basically, he's known as a crooked politician nationwide.

Edit: Also, I think I gave the other debate more credit than is due; it is also a kid's table, but merely lifted an inch higher off the ground.
This article gives a good run-down. There was a lot to it, actually; the bridge thing was only the event that crystallized it.

Theres likely also a generational divide going on between Bush and Rubio.

Also, interesting bit of trivia, Marco Rubio is 44 right now, so, if he becomes president, that will make him one of our youngest presidents. Teddy Roosevelt still has him beat at 43.

But people used to die of lockjaw back then so Teddy Roosevelt was the equivalent of 112 in our years.

I wish we could clone Teddy Roosevelt, teach him to only speak about his early imperialist tendencies when talking to the right, and let him loose. They don't learn from history, so hopefully they wouldn't remember his trustbusting, conservation efforts, the Pure Food and Drug Act, his support for union strikers, or the reason he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Teddy Roosevelt: Not the president America deserves, but damn sure the one it needs right now.

Bill Clinton then! He was 46 at the time of inauguration.

Edit: Or Obama who was 47 at the time. Being president can really do a number to your hair.

To nobodys surprise, some candidates are complaining that they got bumped down.

Or rather, it's just Graham and Pataki complaining atm, Christie has basically said "Bring it on!, give me your worst."

If I recall, the criteria have been the same for the past three debates, so, they only have themselves to blame.

Edit: Actually, the first two were top 10 or thereabouts, the third one had a top cutoff of 3%, so Fox is actually being MORE lenient than CNBC, and all of them had the bottom cutoff of 1% otherwise Gilmore (and all of those third party and miscellaneous candidates like Vermin Supreme) would be up there

Isn't it amusing that when a conservative isn't doing so well it's always everyone else's fault except themselves?

Well, Graham's arguments is not entirely without merit: you can not expect him to perform well on a poll where he isn't one of the options. Of course, he wouldn't have been dropped from the poll if his numbers were better...
