Trump is over in Florida anyway doing a rally or something, you know, campaigning.

I wonder if we'll get any of the rain spun off from that hurricane here in California, we could use it.

I feel bad for Mexico. Cat 5 Hurricanes are no joke, and a lot of people are going to suffer from this one I think.

Randomly out of names starting with the letter, yeah, but they're still in alphabetical order. At least that's the system for Atlantic storms, not sure if the system for east Pacific storms is the same.

They're assuming an extrapolated scale. Not that it matters; windspeed-related destruction peaks at 155mph, higher windspeeds do not add to the destruction.
I doubt that. If you had a hurricane with windspeeds of 10,000 mph, I imagine it would be a much more destructive one (ignoring non-windspeed factors) then one with 155mph winds.
