I'm frustrated for a couple of reasons:
A. I can't see any way that the next four years aren't going to degrade the country's freedoms further. First and Fourth Amendment especially.
B. It seems that the voting population as a whole seems to find anyone actually arguing against blatant violations of our privacy and such impossible to take seriously -- and then they complain and whine about the EXACT things that were argued against anyway. Many people seem to want an authoritarian and it drives me crazy. It's why both the mainline Dems and the mainline Republicans are cooperating to screw our Fourth Amendment rights.

Well, this will probably come out of left field since I've made no indications of my political positions here--and don't intend to either, filthy habit really--but I've decided to throw my hat into the ring and announce my candidacy for President.

I will be representing the Regressive party because they have the best logo, obviously.


If you can figure out where I am, mail your votes to me, and I will do my best to transmit them via thinking-really-hard-about-stuff to the suitable locations--I presume some sort of phylactery housed in that big statue of Lincoln, but I'm not really sure so wish me luck there--and upon election I promise you all will be the first to hear of my platform... probably a hover platform, how much weight can a quad-copter lift again?
