Looks like Trump is trying to be like Erdogan.
An anonymous opponent is sueing artist Illma Gore, who had to move to the UK because of death threats against her in the US, for putting her painting "Make America Great Again" depicting Trump with a micropenis, on sale.
The artist suspects Trump supporters to be behind it.
When Facebook and Ebay removed the painting from their websites, they informed the artist that they did so because a third party had filed a lawsuit based on the Digital Millenium Copyright Act against her.
Based on this law, which is meant to protect author's rights online, Gore can get an 'infringement notice' which orders her to remove illegal content.
According to law experts, the law is more often than not appealed to for improper reasons, usually to pester competition.
It can be expected that the artist will have to defend herself in court, and prove that the anonymous complaintant has no grounds to appeal to the DMCA law.
Who exactly filed the lawsuit is still shrouded, but Gore herself expects it to come from the Trump circle.
Gore herself says to not be rattled by all the commotion, and will stand firm for her art. The sale will go on, and part of the proceedings will be donated to the shelter for homeless in LA.
"Anyone who is scared of a fictive dick does not scare me", she says.
