His chances of securing the nomination apparently dropped from 70-some percent to 56 percent this week. Contested convention is likely at this point. I need to restock my popcorn supplies.

Kasich has the highest favorables among the three candidates.  If he finishes the race strong enough it's not wildly implausible for him to win it on a later ballot.

Nevermind, Trumps favorables among republicans has been improving lately.  Which by the way is an excellent example of why primary politics is so different from general election politics.  You can have things like an increasing number of republicans looking favorable on Trump even as he grows more unpopular with voters in general.
