It seems the margin of Trumps victories has receded a bit from earlier.  He had a strong night but not so strong to give him an overwhelming lead.

Right now the most plausible path to a Sanders presidency is an agrarian revolt.  Have fun out there.

Looking at the county by county results the conclusion is inescapable.  Did you not see the Oklahoma video I posted before?  There is plenty of historical precedent for this.

Must have missed the link, and I was just laughing because the statement just sounds a bit funny in general.

Edit: CNN calling Rubio for Minnesota. Also, for Vermont, it's curious how Kasich is leading in the more populated areas while Trump is leading everywhere else.

Update on GOP candidates who will be shut out due to thresholds:

AL: Rubio, Carson, Kasich (Cruz is clinging to eligibility at 20.8%). However, Trump is winning every county so far so it may still be a sweep.
AR: Carson, Kasich
GA: Carson, Kasich (Rubio looks to be winning the Atlanta metro, so will likely deny Trump the sweep)
MA: Carson (However, Trump has won every county -- should sweep).
MN: Too early to be sure, but looks like Carson and Kasich will be below 10%
OK: Carson, Kasich
TN: Carson, Kasich (Rubio is clinging to eligibility at 20.8%). However, Trump has taken everything but Williamson Co. (just south of Nashville). May still sweep.
TX: Rubio, Kasich, Carson. That's gonna hurt. Especially because Rubio is winning Austin. Still a lot of votes to count, but Rubio is currently at 17.4%, has to hit 20% to qualify.
VT: Rubio, Cruz, Carson. This is great news for Kasich, he doesn't have to worry about splitting the pie with anyone but Trump.
VA: None (no threshold)

In looking at Time magazines guide to the republican calendar and the vote percentages right now, it seems like Carson would be shut out of everywhere but the states which have no threshold as those are few and far in between. Theres a few with 10% and 5% thresholds, but so are Minnesota and Massachusetts.

The same could be true for Kasich as well. I get the idea of all of them staying in to split the delegates, but if they can't even collect delegates in places with a threshold, then they're only hurting that strategy.

Kasich will avoid a shutout in Vermont, which has a 20% threshold.

Yeah well, Kasich has MUCH better chances than Carson at grabbing delegates.

Yeah. As I predicted, Carson will likely end up with one delegate from Virginia and that's it.

EDIT: Although the delegate tracker thing says 3. Maybe 3 is the minimum slice of the pie in VA.

Do you guys think it's possible that Cruz might get past the 50% mark and take all of the Texas delegates? His percentage is slowly rising and there is a LONG way to go over there.

I had to look this up. Apparently it was something he said pandering to the anti-vaxxer crowd.

Rubio is very close to leapfrogging Kasich in Massachusetts. About 730 votes, with 8% left to report.

EDIT: Also, Cruz is threatening Trump in Arkansas, well after the state had already been called for Trump. Only down about 11,000 votes with 1/3 of the results still pending.

EDIT #2: Minnesota will also be the first state in the nation where Donald Trump does not win a single county/district.

Looks my home county of Vanilla Valley voted exactly as expected. Sanders getting a clear lead in Denver is interesting. I expected a landslide in Boulder, but they're slow to report (they probably all just got lost on their way to White Castle).

It's funny seeing Clinton get these marginal wins in the wastelands, painting 1/4 of the state dark blue. Kiowa County had a total of 7 votes. 7.
