I don't see Cruz pulling a convincing enough number to keep supporters from going over to Trump, which I'd bet will happen if he drops out. If the apparent rancor between them is simply politics, then he may turn around and endorse him. Otherwise he'll hang onto as many delegates as he can to commit them to a brokered convention against Trump.

What's the pressure on Cruz to drop out?  He keeps this going to the convention, he maximizes his bargaining power if it's brokered.

Of course it's looking less likely to be brokered and more likely to be Trump wins outright.  He is pretty close to a clear sweep right now and he is running a good 5% above what he needs to be "on track".

With Texas in the pocket and a narrow win in Oklahoma, none right now. Rubio MIGHT get Arkansas, if the early voting stuff shows a trend. Or it could be an all out fight.
