Starting momentarily.

You know, how come the democratic debates don't do the anthem?.... The first one may have, but the rest didn't.

edit: Only lights to signal the time, no sound. But I'm sure Wolf Blitzer will put his foot down if neccesary as we've seen before.

Dunno. Differing levels of Jingoism, I assume.

Carson, just... leave and go to bed, you poor man.
Cruz: "I'm one of you, Texans, vote for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

Crowd is just waiting for Trump to throw punches.

Rubio: "You are the only one on this stage who's hired people illegally-"
Trump: "I'm the only one on this stage who's hired people!"
Crowd: *goes wild*

Kasich is definitely trying to go for the moderate and reasonable look. He's got that "even-keeled highschool Civics teacher" patios down.

Is there a link for the debate?  This sounds like it's going to be entertaining.

Live feed: http://www.cnn.com/

Trump is really good at using other peoples' talking time to keep talking under the guise of "replying" to them. Rubio almost had some good shots in there, but Trump just talked right over it and threw him off.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/25/politics/republican-debate-live-updates/index.html is one, it's about 30 seconds behind though.

Does anybody else think the argument between Rubio and Trump woild be more effective if they looked at each other? I get that they're more like talking to the audience or looking at the cameras though.

Yeah, stage arguments never quite look natural. Playing to the cameras. I'd imagine it's easier to forget memorized arguments when you're looking right at your opponent's face, too.

E: Gah, I've gotta go. Things to get done in meatspace. Will catch up on the liveblogs later. It was getting pretty entertaining =/

Trump on healthcare: 'I want to get rid of borders'

He wants to get rid of state borders? I'm confused?

Rubio doesn't know what lines Trump is talking about, I don't think the audience does either....

Also, Rubio is pulling the same repeat thing on Trump that Christie pulled on him a while ago.

Carson: "health care is not a right, it's a responsibility" and then bla bla bla.

Trump talked about increasing competition so it sounds like it would be allowing anyone in any State to sign up for any service (health care) provider.  It could be related to forcing companies that don't offer service in a certain area, like different corporations that intentionally have non-compete deals with each other, to be forced into competition.  That's what I'm getting out of it.

...How can they not understand that international trade is good?

I can't take Carson seriously. And he just ignored the question entirely.

Carson is so irrelevant he has barely gotten any airtime, or questions.

Now that Carson has a chance, he's cramming in as many responses as possible.
