What, the debate?

Seems like a Sanders friendly crowd there, he's been getting lots of cheers while Clinton hasn't gotten as much. Could be a somewhat neutral crowd though, don't know.

I will vote for the first person to mention defending Earth against the Alien menace.
We... must defend Earth against the Alien menace. By, I'unno, immediately diverting half of terrestrial military spending into orbital and inter-system research and development. Including other countries' spending, which is what will be done with the remaining half of our military budget.

So there you go. Vote Frumple, the only non-candidate to get less votes than Gilmore.

At least I sincerely hope write-ins for frumple got less votes than gilmore. Or anyone else, really.

The lack of shitposting for this debate is disappointing. My impression thus far has been that Clinton is attempting to rip most of Sanders' shtick wholesale, somewhat similarly to Trump's effect on the more moderate republican candidates. Her going from the "I think everybody should love me" (when asked about corporate influence in a previous debate) to the halfhearted rant about big business stood out to me, as well as her beating Sanders to his line about Muslim troops beating ISIS.

I guess as liberals, it's easier to hate pn the republicans?

A good chunk of it was over economy and they haven't gone into rhetoric much.

Not sure why they brought up the whole McGovern thing back in the 60's and 70's, that's like, well, almost half a century ago and a generation or two later, and a completely different ERA even. Maybe it was just the most recent example of a far left wing candidate or something.

AAAAANNDDD, the inevitable email question comes up. And naturally, Sanders wants nothing to do with it.

@thebiggerfish: Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Personally I'm more towards Sanders, but I'm not solidly for either.

Eh, you're british and have parliamentary politics :P

Also, I vote as independent and am democrat leaning, thank you very much.

Parliamentary politics is basically everyone in the House of Lords using red vs blue mentality to do whatever they want, irregardless of whether they believe red or blue, then there's yellows and purples and the occasional green showing up to shout muggy banter. It's not too dissimilar from the American congress politics, though everyone gets to act all posh because they're Barons and Baronesses

You've pretty much got the same red vs blue only without the yellows and purples and greens shouting muggy banter
